Moved the baby chicks over to gen pop this morning. They are 17 weeks old and have a few more months before they start laying.

The I-beams have arrived and are being cut. These will form the frame which will carry the existing coop, and provide a place to attach the drive and non driven wheels. Roughly a 16X30 foot footprint when finished.

“Great Scott, Marty!” It’s not the 1.21 Gigawatts needed for time travel but the solar system is putting out over 1 kW a day to charge the batteries. Recently added an inverter to power the wifi heating panel which will keep the coop about 13 degrees warmer than the outside temperature.
