This past week has been a blast with all the dogs.

This week has been great to be home. I had some chores to catch up on like mowing, weedeating, and laundry but got those done quick and have had a blast with all the daycare dogs being here and a new boarder named Mable who upon drop-off loved the place but not the fact mom ad dad weren't staying too 😩 it only took a little while before realizing how much she loved being here with the pools and friends and that I am the treat lady. 😍🙌 We did become friends and I was required to pet the ears and rub the belly from that point forward. ☺️ I also got to see Hank who did a board and train at my property moths ago and I have to say I am so proud of his mom for keeping up with all the work. Yes he did have a muzzle on while we worked him around other dogs who when I got there today could not be out together let alone both be getting walked by mom. 💪
Thank you all for choosing me as your place to bring your babies. I truly love working with everyone's dogs and loving on them like they are my own.

Day 3 - We worked a little more on rubble piles and I finished the day up being a hider in an old airplane for a few airscent dogs. I have officially decided that will be the next type of Search and Rescue dog I train. It's just a little more lively than H.R.D. 😀 then asked the last questions we had and said goodbye to the new friends we made and began the long journey home. We found some really neat spots to stop and potty the dogs including a gas station fully equipped with a mini dog park that had a few really cute features like the dalmatian fire hydrant. The drive was long but was well worth it. The girls were relieved to be home and I was overhauled with live from Stella and Arya my black labs who missed me dearly. All the girls played in the yard for a little while before heading off to bed.

Day 2 Continued- We finished up at the training center and headed back to the hotel where we enjoyed a short nap and did a few mins of group playtime before heading to meet the group for some dinner at Military Chow Hall called Nickel Hall where they actually served a huge plate of delicious food and cookies all for $10.
We then finished the evening out with some more training around the Chow Hall where a few awesome women took almost 3 hours to go over several questions and techniques on things from Search and Rescue to basic obedience , emergency stopping , and much more. No I did not get any pictures of the training and I am kinda sad because the ladies there were amazing but honestly they did me like I do my clients show and word dump and my eyes were observing while my mind was absorbing everything going on and all the new techniques on how to do things.
I know I am a great dog trainer but I love getting with trainers who have a like minded understanding on why we do what we do and are willing to share techniques and knowledge and show another trainer what to do to be better not only for my dogs but for all of my clients as well. Just call me a copycat and show me everything you know because yes I'm about to use that and say oh ya so & so taught me this.

Day 2 Continued - Rubble piles are definitely alot of fun but equal on the hardworking when you think of the fact that not only are you working your dog and watching them at all times but also watching yourself and hoping you don't make a wrong move with your feet. I did have knee pads on in a special pocket on my pants which made a few moves I pulled up there like crawling through a tunnel a little easier.

Day 2 - June 29th - I started the day with spotting for other handlers and their dogs as we worked some more rubble and then moved on to a train wreck where we worked some very interesting problems. And then back to the rubble pile and an airplane for a super unique experience.

DAY ONE of the seminar was June 28th and we did alot of rubble pile I did grab some neat pictures of a bunch of dogs there and I hope you all enjoy the mass amounts of pictures I'm about to dump.

So I have a huge shoutout to Shawn Cumbee Jones whol last weekend helped me bring to life the idea I had for a Search and rescue shirt. I got to see Dunkin Doodle and had several laughs. She is such an amazing woman and an amazing friend as well. Preparations for the trip were quite a bit from buying all our new gear to getting things packed up and fitting in our vehicles for the almost 10 hour drive. It was such an great experience and I met some of the nicest people who have amazing dogs that I got to learn so much from. I look forward to going again next year as well as hopefully setting up a seminar here in Kentucky for all of them to come to as well as putting into action all of the new training techniques I was shown 👌 👍 😀 🙌 💪

To say I'm proud is an understatement. We had the opportunity to be of assistance this evening with the search dogs here in our own community....never a happy situation when you get a call but to be able to be on scene so quickly makes a huge difference when it comes to scent work and trails. Anyways I have some huge shoutouts to Anthony Williams with Williams Treasured Shepards for training an amazing dog Nashoba & Jessica For letting me know about this young lady as well as helping occupy my daughter while I worked Nashoba on a young lady who went missing yesterday. His nose is one impressive thing from allowing him out of the car and watering him he immediately started smelling all the grass surrounding the house out there, went to each person and then was scented on his article and was given his work command where he with out a second thought led me right around the home and down the small embankment right to road , down a ways and stopped and sat which is his call for this the end of my job and it's play time meaning he meant she got into a car and the trail ended. About 25 mins later the family was contacted by the girl stating that she was fine.

I am so thankful for all the people involved making this go quicker and smoother. Thank you to all the teams that were on standby incase things had not wrapped up so quickly.
Thank God For Dogs & Thank You God For The Opportunity To Help Out. We Are Only 1 Call Away & We'll Be There.

So everyone knows.I've had this litter of German Shepherd puppies here.One of which was going to be our new searching rescue dog and the rest of them were working on finding new homes. I have found homes for 3 out of the 5 . While they were here, everyone got a little bit of basic obedience and some leash skills to help them be better dogs for their new owners. Super excited to announce that 2 of them ended up going to certain rescue homes.And so I thought I would they're these.
These videos and pictures of me working with them the other day on some cadaver. Human Remains for those that don't know what cadaver is.
PS. Some of the commands are coming along really, really well.Some of them are taking a little bit longer to teach but all puppies have done great and from potty training to leash skills and basics to cadaver its been a blast having 5 puppies to work with along with all the rest I do.

It was so much fun having all the dogs here yesterday we are definitely loving the new daycare dogs & enjoying seeing our return boarders. Big Baby Huey & Bronco have definitely grown since seeing them last time.

Trying To Work With These Silly Dogs.....water bucket clean and refill was going pretty good but the pool never had a chance to get full before they made it gross again.
