🐾 September is Animal Pain Awareness Month 🐾
Our pets can’t tell us when something hurts — but they can show us. This month is a reminder to watch for the subtle signs of pain in your furry friends. 🐶🐱
Limping, moving or getting up and down slower and more carefully, changes in behavior, loss of appetite, avoiding touch, or licking joints can all be signs that something’s wrong. Don’t wait — if you suspect your pet is in pain, schedule an appointment. 💙
We have several products, recommendations, and suggestions that can help.
Some signs of pain in pets could include changes in behavior, like increased aggression or withdrawal, and mobility issues, such as trouble getting up from a sitting or laying position, limping or reluctance to move. You may also notice physical signs like excessive grooming of specific areas, vocalization, decreased appetite, changes in sleeping patterns, or unusual postures such as an arched back.

Meet sweet Meatloaf!
Meatloaf came to us 8 months ago overweight with unmanaged diabetes needing a home.
Thanks to our wonderful tech Vanessa he has found an amazing home and is on a journey to recovery! Meatloaf started out at 27 pounds and now thanks to a strict diet of OM to help manage his weight and DM to help manage his diabetes coupled with his daily insulin he is feeling and looking better and is down almost 7 1/2 pounds. His energy levels are coming back full swing and he loves his new life.
We are so proud of you Meatloaf and can't wait to see where you are on your journey a couple of months from now!

WE ARE CELEBRATING 5 YEARS!!! As a thank you to our clients for supporting us for the last 5 years we would love for you to help us celebrate! Please join us during our client appreciation open house on Saturday, June 28th from 12:30-3:30pm.
We will be celebrating with hospital tours and demos, a photo booth, craft stations, games, a BBQ, popcorn and cotton candy, and be entered into our RAFFLE to win some great prizes.

Make sure to make time for the Second Chance for Homeless Pets booth to see all of the adorable fur babies that are looking for forever homes.
