This means a $20 purchase will result in a $40 donation to help the animals, a $50 purchase will result in a $100 donation, etc. This will include all items purchased at the Bazaar in addition to any freely given monetary donations. ALL of it will count toward the Challenge.

MISSING Cat - 5000 block 94 East - Thursday, October 24

Piper, a five-year-old female cat, was last seen at her home in the 5000 block of 94 East on Thursday, October 24. She is spayed and microchipped and her left rear leg has a solid black patch. She will typically answer to her name. Contact 910-709-7106 with any information.

𝑪𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒚? We have an easy option if you aren't sure what you want to take home but you still want to help support to animals - you can grab a tag from our 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞. Tags range from $5-$25 and sponsor necessary items and programs that we provide for both the community and our animals that are available for adoption, such as a $5 donation towards a puppy vaccine, a $15 donation towards buying puppy pads, or a $25 donation to go towards our spay/neuter assistance program. You also always have the option of donating a custom amount that you are comfortable with giving!

This intact, black and white male dog and brown female dog was found in the Shelter safety pen this morning, Thursday, October 31. No collars. No ID tags. No microchips. UPDATE: 11:30 a.m. The dog’s owner has been contacted and will now be in touch with the Animal Shelter. We appreciate her cooperation. Also, we are very grateful for the understanding of the other Emily Hill who had to endure lots of calls seeing if it was her dog.

NEED CALL FROM OWNER - Tuesday, October 29

Kiya, a female red heeler, is at the Animal Shelter. Her owner is Emily Hill. Kiya is not eating and is not able to be handled by any of the Shelter staff. FOUND 2 Dogs - Animal Shelter Parking Lot - Monday night, October 28

These two male dogs were brought in in a trap and left in the Shelter parking lot overnight. The brindle and white is neutered. Both dogs are wearing collars, neither has tags. The black and white one is not microchipped. The staff has not been able to safely scan the brindle and white one yet. No paperwork was left with the dogs. We are grateful that someone brought them in and didn’t just let them loose in the community but it is extremely important that we get a surrender form and more information as soon as possible. Theo, a neutered male, was last seen at his new home in the 500 block of Rayburn Road on Sunday, October 27. He is four years old and typically inside/outside but always coming in multiple times a day and stays inside at night. If you have any information, please contact 731-336-9361.

Goose is always ready for walks, play and some TLC! This two-year-old German Shepherd spent the first year of his life as the co-pilot to his long-haul-truck-driver dad. Goose: 2 year old adoptableGoose has been enjoying his last couple nights as a soccer girl dog. He has made friends with some of the Murray State WSOC girls and have been very very helpful on getting the girls out for some walks and runs. Goose has met little dogs and let kids pet him on his walks. Even though he would have much preferred to keep walking (he loves being outside) he did enjoy the kids affection.It's Goose's turn for his forever family! These hard working teams successfully graduated from the Humane Society of Calloway County’s Fall CGC Dog Obedience class! Congratulations to them all 🎉🐾❤️🐾🎉

PUPPIES are on the move!!! They are fat and sassy little babies. They are beginning to play with toys and loving their mash food. Building those muscles and energy to be over the sides of their enclosure just any minute!

Oh. my! The puppies are certainly not starving, but you’d never know that from the volume of their demands ☺️ And look how fast they are moving! Coordination comes next. They will be over and out of their enclosure in no time 🐾❤️🐾
