Hi friends and followers. First of all I'd like to thank you very much for Liking and/or Following this Page. I have not been able to post as much as I'd like, but that will be changing very quickly. I have a favor to ask.

I've had a preliminary meeting regarding the legislation I am working on presenting in the state of Utah in an effort to stop the proliferation of fake Service Dogs and ESA's. I will be asking questions as I go along. They will also be posted on my Kinetic K9 FB page as well as my Personal FB page in order to get as much input as possible.

First question is quite simple. Since the current laws are so loosely regulated, there is nowhere to get actual statistics on a lot of the information I need. I would like to ask you to give an educated guess (from anecdotal and personal experience) as to the percentage of fake Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals you think there are, compared to legitimate Service Dogs that are trained to perform a function for the person with the disability AND, in the case of ESA's, have a letter from a doctor that is actually treating them. Remember that the designation of ESA is ONLY for housing and airport travel. So if you've seen or heard of one anywhere in a public place (for example a grocery store), figure this into your percentage.

For presentation purposes, it will probably be best for your guesstimate on the statistics if Service Dogs and ESA's each have their own category.

One city people, ONE CITY! And this is after a holiday. Although it is a traumatic one for animals afraid of loud noises, imagine the trauma of any dog (or cat) accidentally getting loose and being separated from their family. These are the dogs that are in shelters. They're not bad dogs. They are bad owners! There are no bad dogs, just irresponsible people!

I applaud these officers for their compassion and their efforts! But I posted this video because it's an example of exactly how important it is to know Pet CPR. She could have cleared the passage and given CPR immediately to avoid any possible brain damage from loss of oxygen. Everybody, if you love your pets Like I do, learn pet CPR. It's not hard. Google it and there will be all kinds of charts for you. Love your babies! Our time with them is short enough as it is.

Every single one purebred and every single one a rescue! Adopt don't shop! We kill one healthy dog every 9 seconds in this country because of overpopulation. Look at this amazing group. Although several are now Rainbow Bridge babies, I can't even express how lucky I was to have them all in my life!

Dogs are capable of helping humans with every type of illness, physical and mental. This is just one small example of a dog who has been horribly abused, yet continues to love unconditionally!

Very interesting article and a good way to relate to why your dog is behaving a certain way at certain ages. I found it to be very interesting and to make a lot of sense.

Dogs age at different rates compared to humans, but the simple rule of seven dog years to one human year is far from accurate.
