*Happy International Dog Day!*

On this special day, we wish to share a success story with you about our friend Harley.
We met Harley in May 2023 and began treatment for a variety of reasons, including obesity, lameness and overall decreased mobility. Harley's dad was diligent about following a plan, which included calorie reduction, improved joint health through Adequan, exercise, and improved pain control with Librela.
We are happy to share that, in 15 months, Harley has lost ***37%*** of his body weight!!!
Harley is now able to play and run without pain. Way to go Harley and Harley's Dad!!!

Today we said, "Aloha" to a key member of our team. Madison has worked at VMC for the last four years while she attended Murray State. She has been one of our most versatile team members, as, aside from doctor, she has worked in every position. We are going to miss her greatly, but we celebrate her accomplishments as she heads off to veterinary school on her quest to become Dr. Madison!

Make plans to visit the Woodlands Nature Station in LBL for Cool Critters Day on July 13th! This family-friendly event will give you a chance to meet critters way up close (and learn why they're so cool)! Play games, dissect an owl pellet, get animal face paint, and much more!

Yesterday we were blessed with a beautiful day to celebrate one whole year of being under new leadership!

We've been so busy that we almost forgot to share the "before" and "after" of our treatment room renovation.

Jason Phillips, with Phillips Custom Building, his foreman, Kevin, and their team, created a more workable treatment room by knocking down a wall and completely renovating this space. They brought our beautiful vision to life and this space will help us to better serve our clients and patients more thoroughly and efficiently for years to come.

Peep our new blood, dental, and anesthesia machines, and our well-stocked pharmacy. We vow to do our best to offer convenient, patient-centered, care from our team.

2023 was a year of change, and this renovation is one we are especially proud of! We look forward to 2024 and all the opportunities it will offer!

We will see you at 7:30AM, January 2nd, ready to hit the ground running!

We've had lots to celebrate this week as one of our very own, Madison, graduated from Murray State on Saturday. Madison graduated with a B.S. with an area in Pre-veterinary Medicine. She graduated a semester early, earned an Honors diploma through the Honors program, and studied abroad, all while working part-time at VMC.

Madison is one of our most versatile employees and she will be spending some time with us while she awaits to hear about her next chapter.
Way to go, Madison! Your VMC fam is PROUD!
