With our long drought ending, we’ve officially started the long awaited mud management project! Brand new gutters installed on the barn shelters and placing new mud grids in high traffic areas.
Next step: loads of sand and M10 coming next week for the slippery areas with greasy Georgia red clay! 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️

We provide high quality, tested round bales in hay nets to reduce waste and hay huts to keep everything dry and prevent resource guarding.

Johnny has settled in great with our track herd, quickly learning the new routine.

We still have space available for track system/paddock paradise board! Forage based, mineral balanced, supplemented diet included with high quality tested hay provided year round.

New track horses are confined to the area by the barn for the first days while everyone gets acquainted before fully integrating with the herd.

Dinner Time! 🕗
Each pasture horse gets their own feeding bay for dinner. This way everyone can safely finish their food without being rushed or run off.

They learn very quickly whose bay is whose and politely line up as I carry feed buckets out!

HAY DAYS! 😋🐴
Our track herd is stocked up for the winter! They love this Timothy/Orchard mix from Ohio.
First cut, low sugar, beautiful hay. Both our harder-keeper thoroughbreds and easy-keeper IR horses have done great on it.

All our hay is stored inside our storage building to keep it dry and fresh all winter long.

30 round bales for the pasture herds delivering tomorrow!

Making use of the trees and shelters this weekend! They love the barn shelter in the mornings and always seem to make their way to the woods when they take an afternoon forage break. They love their options!

3 months of living on our track system 😍

With intentionally placed food source, shelter, and water source, our track system encourages movement and natural foraging behavior.
All horses are fed a customized forage first, mineral-balanced diet adjusted to suit their individual needs.

It’s an ideal environment for insulin resistant horses that need more movement & diet control AND hard keepers like this off track thoroughbred that need to build muscle and stronger hooves.

Dinner time! Each horse has their own “feeding bay” they can safely eat their dinner in without being run off by the other horses. They even line up in their designated spots each evening before the dividers are up!

Today we finished driving posts for the fence between pastures B and C. Both pastures are 7 grassy acres with a mix of open fields and mature trees offering plenty of shade.
