It's so impressive how chill Smurf is until I let him know it's time to run! Major error on 1st barrel but I couldn't of asked him to turn his 2nd any more perfectly!

Smurfs cruise through on Friday at Lita Scott Race. This was his 2nd race I've entered him in (both 2 day races so 4th run) and he always keeps himself calm and relaxed until he knows it's his turn to run. Can't wait until he's solid enough that I can start adding speed!

This little guy was 100% sure Smurf was his Momma. Was so glad I was on Smurf! That calf ran under his belly through his hind legs ran right in front of his chest everywhere and Smurf was just patient with the little guy!

I am a HUGE believer in mare power. Any horse can be out of a well known proven stallion but I believe the best horses come from proven outstanding mares! If you study Smurf's pedigree you see so many amazing mares!

His dam Just A Little Run had a 99 SI and won the All Canadian Futurity in 2001.

First Spittin Image (Smurf's sire) dam, Perry's Spittin Image had an SI of 103 and was a full sister to Spit Curl Jess.

If you look further back on Smurf's papers you see 3 AAA mares, First Prize Rose SI 98, Lil Spit Curl SI 116, and Fast Copy SI 103
