🌟 We had an amazing training day with our Stable Moment’s mentors today! What an incredible group of humans, willing to hold time and space weekly for a foster child. Thank you Barbara, Ariana, Kadriana, Esmeralda, Linda, Hector, Kathy, Stacy, Jessica, Steve, and Fanta for being a big deal and making a difference in the life of a foster child. We couldn’t do this program without you.

💜 We are also extremely grateful for our helpers who helped make today’s training a huge success. Thank you Erin, Chayley, and Elaine for donating your time today to this important program. Together we can make a difference!

Mooney is a very important member of our team and he needs your help. Mooney is an amazing 15 year old gelding that was donated to the program and he has been an incredible source of hope and healing for kids and adults.

On July 7th, Mooney started showing signs of colic. After being seen by the local vet onsite, it was recommended that we take him to the hospital. Mooney is currently being treated at San Luis Rey hospital and they are taking amazing care of him. His estimated total vet bills are between $3,500-$6,500 depending on his length of stay and treatments needed.

Please consider donating to Mooney’s Money fund to help cover his medical bills. Your generosity allows us to continue supporting foster children and those in need of hope and healing.

A huge thank you to Jim and Anita Mannix for donating the materials for the new “Hang Out” room in the barn, and to Larry and Dar Mannix for donating their time and expertise to make it a reality.

This space will be an important part of upcoming programs at the ranch, including the Stable Moments program for foster and adopted kids through Hoofbeats for Hope Inc.

We are so grateful for their support, and excited for the important moments of hope and healing this special space will bring.

The Stable Moments program helps foster kids learn to make true connections with their mentors and with their assigned horse. 💜💛

Kids who have experienced not only have missed out on health connection, and crucial milestones, but they have also developed patterns to protect themselves which often involves protecting themselves from people.
