💖🐶 LOVE YOUR PUP THIS VALENTINE’S DAY! 🐶💖

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about chocolates and flowers—it’s also the perfect time to show your four-legged best friend just how much they mean to you! ❤️🐾
🐕 Talk to them. Communication is a two-way street! Your dog listens to you, but are you listening to them? Watch their body language, engage with them, and strengthen that special bond.
🤗 Give them some love. A belly rub, ear scratch, or a cozy snuggle session (if they enjoy it) can mean the world to your pup.
🎾 Play together. Find their favorite game, whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or a fun training session. Quality time = endless love.
🍓 Treat them (safely!). Skip the chocolate, but share some dog-safe treats like blueberries, strawberries, or bananas for a festive touch.
Our dogs love us unconditionally—let’s return the favor! Give them an extra cuddle, an extra scratch, and an extra "good dog!" today. 💕🐶

How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day with your pup? Drop a pic or story in the comments! 📸👇

Not every person is suited for every job, and the same goes for dogs! While some pups thrive as service dogs, others have different talents and personalities. When a dog transitions out of service dog training, we call it a "career change." This can happen for health reasons or behavioral traits like being too friendly, lacking focus, or simply not having the desire to work.

Career change dogs make incredible companions! They come fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and with a solid foundation of training. Some go on to become therapy dogs, agility stars, or just the perfect laid-back family pet.

Meet Jack! This 3-year-old boy has plenty of energy and enthusiasm—so much so that service work just wasn’t the right fit for him. He’s food and toy motivated, but above all, he loves attention and affection. If you're looking for an active, loving companion, Jack might be your perfect match!

To learn more about Jack or apply for one of our career change dogs, visit our website or email [email protected].

Putting together an event such as the CST graduation has a lot of moving parts and requires a lot of support by many entities. Today, we want to take the time to recognize all those who helped make it possible.

Thank you to McCaffrey's Food Markets for being an event sponsor and for your continued support of CST and Wilson Creek Winery for hosting us. The venue is great, the meal was amazing, and your staff are top notch. Jim and Brenda, Tor and Julie, Lindsay, Ed, and all those who donated to support the cost of the event. While we work hard to keep costs low, we appreciate all those who donated to sponsor at various levels. Without you, none of this would be possible.

There were many businesses who were generous enough to donate items for our raffle. These items were a hit and attracted a lot of interest. Thank you Raising Cane's Midsummer Scream MilVet Uptown Jungle Murrieta Palm Springs Aerial Tramway the Pawtriotic Dog Bakery Zov's Restaurants Woofs and Purrs Gifts and all those who donated baskets for various businesses and experiences.

Thank you to the volunteers, staff, and board members who helped put this event together and came to celebrate the achievements of the service dog teams.

Finally, thank you to the friends, families, officials, and community who joined in the celebration. We appreciate you and are glad you were able to participate.

As we continue saying thank you to all those who make it possible for us to continue our mission of changing lives one service dog at a time. Today, we want to take a moment to thank all those who are part of the Prison Pup Program.

For nearly 23 years, we have partnered with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. As the first program of its kind in California, we both set out on a unique mission to help the disabled community while providing the incarcerated individuals with the opportunity to grow. The total number of people who have been impacted by this program is in the millions. Many of those who were inmate trainers have left prison with valuable marketable skills that have translated to exceptional job opportunities. Some have even gone on to start their own businesses.

The Prison Pup Program is a win win win situation. The dogs get exceptional training to prepare them for service work, the inmate participants build community while learning many hard and soft skills, and a disabled individual gets a highly trained skilled service dog to help the individual gain personal, social, and occupational independence.

We wish to thank everyone who has made and continue to make this possible. Those who had the initial vision, the prison personnel who have continued to support the program, the inmate participants who give their all to the mission, the trainers who consistently work with them to build the skills, and all who have supported us financially or by sharing with others.

🦮🐕Puppy Raisers: The Heart of Canine Support Teams🐕🦮

Our puppy raisers are the lifeblood of Canine Support Teams. These incredible volunteers dedicate over a year of their lives to caring for and loving a puppy, preparing them for their journey toward becoming a life-changing service dog. While it’s true that our raisers have a deep love for dogs, their ultimate goal is to give the gift of independence to someone in need.

Through their unwavering commitment, our raisers teach these puppies about love, trust, basic obedience, socialization, and so much more. The puppies accompany their raisers almost everywhere—whether it’s to the movies, bowling alleys, restaurants, or sporting events. They’re also introduced to various modes of transportation, including planes, trains, buses, and boats. This comprehensive exposure ensures the puppies are ready to face nearly any experience as future service dogs.

The untiring dedication of our puppy raisers is immeasurable. Without them, Canine Support Teams would not be able to empower people with disabilities to gain personal, social, and occupational independence.

On Saturday, February 1, we will proudly celebrate the graduation of more than a dozen dogs alongside their handlers. This milestone would not be possible without the tireless efforts of our puppy raisers.

🎉🎊We invite you to join us in honoring these incredible individuals and their contributions. 🎊🎉Please consider supporting our puppy raisers, their dogs, and our graduates by clicking here ---> https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/MjIzNTU2 or clicking the link in our Link tree. Together, we can continue to make a profound difference in the lives of those we serve.

🎓🐾 As we count down to our upcoming graduation celebration, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible programs and efforts that make Canine Support Teams possible.

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the source of our puppies—the foundation of our mission.

🐶 Reliable puppy sources are essential to our success. They ensure our dogs are healthy, have stable temperaments, and are ready for the challenges of service work. Ethical breeding practices, proper early socialization, and consistent traits give our puppies the best start in life, setting them up to become exceptional service dogs who change lives.

Thank you to everyone who plays a role in bringing these amazing pups into the world and into our program. Your dedication makes all the difference! 💛

Jack stopped by the office today for a meeting about the upcoming Graduation, and wow, did he bring the energy! He had plenty of ideas to share, and while he’s passionate about how things should be done, he’s a breeze to collaborate with.

Jack wanted us to remind everyone that sponsorships are still available! You can sponsor a graduate, a family, a table, a portion of the event, and more. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible celebration—visit our sponsorship page at https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/MjIzNTU2 or email us at [email protected] for details.

We’re also still accepting corporate sponsors and raffle basket donations to make this event truly unforgettable!

Now it’s time to send Jack back to work—there’s still so much to do in 10 days, and we’re more excited than ever to make this graduation one for the books! 🎉
