She is 7 weeks old and we have no idea what her breed is! Her DNA test is pending but drop your breed guesses in the comments below ⬇️. We will post an update when the results are in!! 😃

Did you know that bad breath is NOT normal?!? Instead, this can be a sign of dental disease! Gingivitis, tartar/calculus, fractured teeth, and dental infections are very common in pets, and if left untreated these problems can lead to some serious health conditions.

We recommend performing an ultrasonic dental cleaning, along with dental radiographs, YEARLY to ensure that your pet’s teeth and gums are healthy! 🦷🪥

If you think your pet may have dental disease, schedule an appointment for an oral health assessment today! 😁

Introducing our new professional pet groomer, Alayna! 😃

Beginning in April, Alayna will be providing grooming services at Star Veterinary Center of Muskego! In the meantime, you can find her helping out around the clinic and grooming at our Franklin location on Wednesdays.

Alayna has been working with animals in a boarding/daycare setting since 2014 and graduated from cosmetology school in 2019. Since then she has merged her love for hair and animals, thus establishing a career in pet grooming!

Alayna believes that although a completed groom is visually appealing, a successful groom includes a thorough understanding of the skin and coat health of the animal, open communication with the pet parent to better aid in understanding their pet’s needs, and creating a trusted bond with each family she meets!

So Cranberry is here not only to show off his 7 week old cheek floof, but also to help put out a request, again, for foster homes. Without dedicated foster homes this little family literally would NOT have existed. Their mother would likely have not received a C-section and all the kittens, and possibly Catt herself, would have likely died.
We are in DESPERATE need of foster homes in the Midwest. If you have fostered with other groups before that's even better! We do have some requirements including:
1. Your pets be current on vaccinations and fixed (there are some exceptions, please ask)
2. There must be a room where a foster cat can stay away from the rest of the household (very important for stressed kitties).
3. There must be transportation available to get cats to the vet, etc.
We provide ALL VET CARE, plenty of help, education and advice, kitty condos if needed and a thorough step by step process for you and cats' success. Food can be comped as needed.
Dedication, love and a willingness to learn are also important! You want to make a HUGE DIFFERENCE and SAVE LIVES? WE NEED YOU!

‼️ Please be aware of a new warning against feeding your pets a raw food diet ‼️

If you have not heard, there has been a recent incident in which a pet’s raw food diet was contaminated with the bird flu virus, which sadly resulted in the pet’s death. More info can be found here…

At this time, we recommend avoiding all raw food diets, freeze-dried diets and raw milk. These foods can potentially expose your pet to harmful bacteria and viruses, including the bird flu. We encourage you to feed your pet a commercial pet food, which has been heat-treated to eliminate these pathogens.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your pet’s food, our staff is happy to help navigate you in the right direction!
