Anticipated breed list for the next two months: texel x lunkarya (50/50 cross), Peruvians, and silkies!

Exciting news: we added 2 lunkarya sows and one Lunkarya boar to our herd today! This being said we should start producing purebred lunkarya Guinea pigs in the next few months!

First 2 pics are the boar and the last 4 pics are the 2 sows! Both sows are young, so they have a lot of hair growth ahead of them! P.s. these pictures were taken right after a bath/ groom, their hair is not tangled, this is just the unique texture that is characteristic to a lunkarya’s coat.

We frequently have people ask us how we house our giant breed rabbits, well this is how! We love x-pen style cages, they allow our buns to have space to move about their pen and practice normal bunny behaviors. The only downside of these pens is they do not have a floor like a traditional rabbit pen or hutch, meaning you’ll want to either place the pens on carpet you don’t care about or on hardwood floors.

We then use washable p*e pads (because even potty trained buns aren’t always perfect ❤️). We use gravity waterers for our rabbits because it saves us having to constantly refill water bottles, and they don’t drip!

This little sweet potato is the only remaining pup available from our teddy x texel litter! She may not have the texel curls, but we do think she has some more hair growth in her future! Ready for a new home next weekend!

We have 2 beautiful Peruvian babies that unfortunately had reservations fall through, they are now available again! The white baby is a male, the red baby is a female.

Ready to move next weekend! This sweet little one is an African Pygmy Dormouse. These guys are tricky to s*x at this age, so this little one will simply be available as an uns*xed individual.

We are taking a big leap with our sugar gliders! We recently lost our sweet male, Remi. His loss was extremely unexpected and heart breaking due to his gentle, social nature. We were intending to just add a male… however one thing led to another and now we are getting a pedigreed pair! We will be picking up these gorgeous gliders in the next few weeks and we are so incredibly excited!
