Did you know we have been officially certified as a “Santa’s E.L.V.E.S.” (Emergency Landing and Veterinary Expert System) location?! We are SUPER excited that Santa chose US to be on call for the reindeer tomorrow night! 🎅🦌

In the event that Santa’s reindeer team needs to make an unscheduled Christmas Eve stop for sled repairs, refueling, or veterinary care, our staff will be available to provide assistance and ensure a safe and on-time delivery of Santa’s cargo!

Size DOES matter- at least when discussing the appropriate litterbox size for your feline friends! Most of the litterboxes that are produced commercially are far too small for your cat to be comfortable using. It's super easy (and a lot of times cheaper!) to make your own. Having the appropriate sized box can help prevent accidents outside the box!

This is not our photo but is so very important with Christmas right around the corner. Please think twice (and maybe 3, 4 and 5 times too) before giving a pet as a gift. Our shelters are already bursting at the seams and more often than not, these "presents" are discarded there as soon as the newness and excitement wears off.

Meet Mort! This little hedgehog came to see us for a wellness visit. Usually these guys are rolled into a little spikey ball and it is hard for us to get a good look at them. Mort was super curious and happy to let us pass him around for "cuddles." 😉🥰

Our Angel Tree is up! Each year we decorate our tree in rememberance of the pets we said good-bye to over the past year. We invite you to stop in and chose an ornament for the pet(s) you lost this year. We will have markers available to personalize the ornament. We would love if you would leave a photo of your pet behind on the tree so we can celebrate them too (this is not required)!

We are currently seeing more fleas and ticks than we have seen all summer! Why? Because its December, the weather is still decent (not that it matters much- fleas will hitch a ride on your dog or cat and set up shop in your house for the winter, and ticks live outside all winter long) AND because owners have stopped using prevention for the year! PLEASE keep your pets on parasite prevention year-round! It is cheaper to prevent these parasites than try and treat them when they have moved in!

How about a super cute Bearded Dragon, enjoying a few treats (mealworms) during his visit? Every trip to the vet should come with treats, no matter the species 😊

Curly Fry, the world's most spoiled rotten clinic Guinea Pig (😉), currently has her very own garden growing in our backyard . She enjoys her fresh veggie snacks, I moderation of course!

Remember sweet Norman who is looking for his forever home? Well, we have learned that he likes to go for walks and does GREAT on a leash- no pulling! Dr. Graham has been spending time walking him on her lunch hour and he loves it. If you are looking for a snuggle bug who LOVES toys and is great on leash, look no further! Norman is your guy! (Norman's only request is that he goes to a home with no kids, or kids of high school age!)
