Sunday Update: The baby goat is now in the care of the person who initiated the rescue of this baby girl. She is blind in her right eye. We will update after the vet visit tomorrow.

Howling Timbers was just contacted about this 3 week old goat who was stomped on by her mom shortly after being born. Our friend Beth at Duckhaven Sanctuary will provide her care and a lifelong home but first we must find out why she can't stand. An initial office visit and x-ray is $180. Once it is determined if she needs surgery, there may be additional funds needed. If it is determined that she will never have use of her legs and have no quality of life, she will be humanely euthanized.

This is Hank, he is a 1.5 year old pit mix who was abandoned by his previous owners on a dirt road. He is now neutered, up to date on vaccines and chipped. He is very high energy and because of this would be best suited for a home as an only pet or with other very high energy dog. He is housebroken and knows some basic commands. He’s very snuggly and affectionate. He does well with kids but because of his energy level would be a good fit for a home with older kids as he can get a little rambunctious and knock them down.

Courtesy Post: This cutie patootie wants to curl up on the couch with a family in his forever home. He is an 11 month old Bulldog/Great Dane that is already neutered. This boy is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He is housebroken, walks amazingly on a leash, and loves car rides. His only downfall is that he has separation anxiety. 🔺 [26 EMERGENCY FOSTER HOMES NEEDED] 🐾
Hurricane Helene has displaced thousands of dogs as shelters were destroyed and flooded. These dogs are scared and lost, and they urgently need temporary foster homes.
We’re asking the community to provide a safe space for them to recover. Our organization will cover all medical needs, so fosters can focus on giving comfort and care.

Courtesy Post: Marlo needs an indoor home where she will be warm and loved.

Her name is Marlo she is pit/lab, approximately 2, fixed and up to date on shots, great with kids and other animals, though she is a huge chewer if left alone for periods of time.

Currently she's in my backyard but one of my children has medical issues and I cannot keep her as he dumped her here unfortunately
