WE HAVE FOUND A FOSTER 😊

This girl is so sad at the shelter 😔
Sadie is a six-year-old with a heart so full of love it’s almost too much to bear. Sadie is one of our hurricane survivors, brought to us after the devastation of Hurricane Helene uprooted her.

Sadie spends most of her days lying down up from in the office her big, brown eyes watching as people pass by. It’s as if she’s asking, “Is this really where I’m supposed to be?” Despite all she’s lost, her heart remains open. She looks at us hoping for some reassurance that she hasn’t been forgotten.

She’s gentle as they come, with a soft presence. She is great with other dogs and based on her demeanor we think she would be fine with cats too.

She is in search of a home where she can finally rest her head and feel safe.

Rustin’s story is one that pulls at the heartstrings, and those who’ve met him know exactly why. He first joined us here at Noah Project in 2022, and from the moment he walked in, he brought with him a warmth that spread to everyone he encountered. For anyone who’s met him, you know he has a gift for making people feel seen and loved. He’s so much more than a shelter dog; he’s a registered therapy dog who, time and time again, has lifted the spirits of those who needed it most.

Rustin did have a brief time away from us in a loving home, where he was as cherished as he deserves. Sadly, due to no fault of his own or his previous owner, he came back to us. Watching him return was a sad moment; we were heartbroken for him. His strong, loving hugs and soulful eyes have comforted so many of us — but deep down, we know he’s still waiting for his forever person, someone he can truly call his own.

Rustin’s only wish is for a home where he can be the one and only pet. He’s a dog who’s happiest with his people, and while he’s had to wait a while for that perfect match, he’s never lost his gentle spirit or his boundless love. His big hugs may knock you over, but they’re always followed by a quiet look that says, *I’m here for you.*

It’s hard not to feel the tug at your heart when you see Rustin watching families come and go, still waiting for someone who can give him the life he deserves. Rustin has so much love to give and only asks for someone willing to let him in and be his world. He’s more than ready to be someone’s steadfast companion, to offer his sweet therapy and comforting presence to a family of his very own.

If you’re looking for a friend who will fill your home with joy, warmth, and unconditional love, Rustin is waiting. He’s been waiting for quite some time, but he’s never given up hope. Rustin deserves a home that will cherish every ounce of his big, beautiful heart.

We don't really know too much about Benny's past, but we do know he has some quirks. He has been here for over 810 days now. We've learned that out of the shelter, he knows all his commands (sit, stay, paw, crate, etc). He doesn't react to other dogs while on a walk. As for now, he loves to cuddle on his own terms. He will need some training when it comes to his quirks. He is definitely fear-aggressive and needs some training for his trust issues when it comes to people. He loves most dogs.

While Benny’s a lovebug at heart, he does have a few “no-touch zones” — kind of like when someone tries to hug you before your morning coffee. He’s fear-reactive and has some trust issues, so he’ll need a patient, experienced person to help him work through these quirks. Because of this, he’d do best in a home without kids, where he can truly feel safe and build trust at his own pace.

Benny has come a long way, but he’s still on his journey, and we know he’s worth every moment. This sweet, unique boy has so much love to give — you just have to give him the chance. His love is beyond worth it 💕

Jimmy is, without a doubt, one of the best boys you could ever meet. He's the kind of dog who radiates pure joy in everything he does. His manners are top-notch—he'll sit so politely when it's time to play ball, never rushing or barking, just waiting patiently with those eager eyes that say, "I'm ready when you are." It’s like he knows how to make every moment special, bringing a calm, well-behaved energy even when he’s brimming with excitement.

But it’s not just his patience and playful nature that make Jimmy the best. He’s got the sweetest, most loyal heart, always wanting to be close to his people, ready for a pat or a kind word. He’s that dog who’ll nuzzle up to you, as if to say, "I’m here for you," making sure you know just how much he cares. Jimmy exists to make the people around him proud with his love, manners, and playful spirit.

We don’t know much about Jimmy’s past, but we do know this: he’s a resilient boy with a heart full of potential. Found abandoned on the road, Jimmy has been through some tough times. He’s understandably a little wary of certain men, especially those wearing hats, but this doesn’t define him. What we’ve seen time and again is that Jimmy has the ability to open up and trust, once he realizes he’s safe.

His journey from fear to trust is a beautiful one. With a little patience and kindness, Jimmy’s initial hesitation melts away, revealing the loyal, loving boy he truly is. He's shown us that, while his past may have shaped him, it doesn’t control his future—Jimmy is ready to grow and learn to love again.

Castle, a 9-month-old Jack Russell mix, is ready to find his family. This little guy has tons of energy and loves to zoom around and explore. If you’re looking for a dog who’s always ready to play, Castle is the perfect fit!

He’s got a big heart and is eager to bond with a family that can keep up with his playful nature. Castle thrives on activity, so he’d do best with someone who enjoys the outdoors and can give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Mission Statement

Noah Project is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter that is 100% funded by community donations! We are dedicated to providing the compassionate well-being of abused, unwanted, and surrendered pets. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, and are treated with love and respect as they await to be matched into loving forever homes! Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters, and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a loving home.
