Jimmy is a 3-year-old Border Collie mix at the shelter. Jimmy loves playing ball, has lots of energy, and would thrive with an active family. While he seems okay with other dogs, he might be selective, so compatibility is important. He’d also love a fenced-in yard where he can run and play freely!
We might not be loving the Michigan snow, but some of our dogs sure are! Major loves everything that has to do with water in all shapes and sizes ❄️☃️
EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED 🚨
This sweet beagle boy was born to track, his nose always leading him on a trail. But here, in the shelter, for him everything is chaos.
Carson isn’t himself here. When he is in the kennel he cries, when he is out of his kennel, he is so confused and stressed with the scents he doesn’t know what to do with himself.
In the video, you can see it: Carson darts around the outside kennels, nose to the ground, frantic. His tail doesn’t wag. His ears don’t perk with joy. He sniffs and sniffs, pausing to alert us as if to say, “I found something!”—but there’s no trail to follow - too many scents to understand.
Carson is good with kids and other dogs. We are not sure how he is with cats but with a slow introduction he may be fine.
Carson is on the scent of something. We’re not sure what…. If you’re looking for a tracking dog, or just an extremely vocal dog - with a little bit of guidance this may be your man.

Atlas has been putting every white noise machines to shame for 3 years. This chill boy gets along with everyone including kids and dogs. He wasn’t around cats in his former house but he seems to have no problem with them here.
