PLEASE HELP OZZY 💔❤️
Ozzy was picked up on Wood & Isabella a couple of weeks ago.
He was skin and bones and had multiple sores on his legs and body. He has clearly been neglected of even the most basic of care.
Ozzy immediately stole all of our hearts with his sweet, loving nature. Ozzy lights up with staff and volunteers when it's time for his walk or a snuggle on the couch. He settles in to any lap that is offered and will happily provide anyone with his love and affection in the form of a gentle (but wet) kiss. (Lol)🥰
Ozzy loves to play with other dogs at the shelter. We walks well on leash, and he's been clean in his kennel. We believe Ozzy may be around 6 years old and he is heartworm negative.
Dogs like Ozzy don't deserve to degrade in a shelter. We are hoping that someone with a very special heart can help Ozzy by fostering or even better....adopting!
Can you help?
If you're interested Ozzy, please submitaMYPETPROFILE at www.poundbuddies.org.
THANK YOU!
More available playmates for your dog!
Our FAVORITE thing to do....doggie play dates! Suns out, let's enjoy the day😀
All of these amazing dogs are available for adoption. 🥰
Scenic drive dog, now "Valentine," is coming out of her shell and making wonderful progress!
We are so excited that she feels safe and is wanting attention from staff.
We hope this makes you all smile this morning, we sure are! 🥰🥰🥰
Meet Jolie & Daphne!
The two adorable pups are ready to find their forever family's!
You may remember Jolie's post from when she came in, she had been hit by a car and had to have a front leg amputated.
She has been such a trooper through the entire recovery process and she has been fully cleared by her veterinarian for adoption.
As you can see, she doesn't miss a beat and you would never know she's only running and playing on 3 legs! 🤣
Daphne (black/white) came in with a liter malnourished and neglected puppies. After wonderful vet care, proper nutrition and lots of TLC, Daphne and her siblings are also ready for adoption!
To meet these pups (or any of our other amazing pets!) Please submit a MY PET PROFILE at www.poundbuddies.org🥰
Looking for a couple of very special homes for these senior chihuahuas!
How do senior dogs end up at an animal shelter? We are shocked no one has come in looking for their beloved pets!
These little angels deserve to live out their lives in a home. Are you that special person, family, home?
Please visit us at www.poundbuddies.org and submit a MYPETPROFILE to meet these very special senior dogs.
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Woody
It’s been a long day

Thank you for all the medical supplies...Holy cow did your generosity help!
Spartie is feeling like a champ this weekend and he is healing remarkably well.
His wounds are still in need of daily care but we are thrilled to see him act like his puppy self finally🥰
Sparty has a follow up this Wednesday with Dr. Graham so we'll see if he gets some more good news😀
Thank you everyone for your generous donations to help Spartie! We appreciate you all!!!❤️❤️❤️
After 2 weeks on her own, '"Patti" is finally safe!
On August 23rd, we reieced a call for a dog running loose in the Sunrise Cemetery off Laketon.
When we arrived at the location, she was on a mission and we unfortunately lost sight of her.
The next 2 days, we continued to look for her and scout the area but we never saw her. A post was made stating she may have been hit by a car, she was limping.
That was the last post that was made and no other sightings were reported. We were so worried she was injured and suffering somewhere with no help....💔
THEN....yesterday, a wonderful man, Pat, came in and said has been seeing a dog in the wooded area at his job site. As we got to talking, it became clear that this is the same dog we've been looking for!😀🙏
We met Pat at his job site and set a trap close to where she was bedding down. We left a smelliest, yummiest bowl of soft food and water...now we just have to see of she'll be interested🤞
We didn't hear from Pat yesterday but we were still hopeful that we'd get the dog very soon.
After a night of wondering and hoping, we got the phone call we were waiting for....Pat said the dog was in the trap! 🥰🥰🥰
Pat sat with her and kept her company until we arrived early this morning....what a relief to know this poor girl is finally safe!
We immediately named her "Patti," in honor of Pat, who reported her and helped us secure her. What wonderful people we have in our community❤️
Patti is resting well tonight and has enjoyed lots of love and the comfort of a soft bed and a good meal.
Thank you Pat! 💜
Check out the comments for a video of how happy Patti was when she was in the van...it's priceless! 😀
