Pound Buddies is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to finding good homes for homeless and abandoned dogs and cats.

Pound Buddies Animal Shelter & Adoption Center is primarily a volunteer organization that relies on donations and adoption fees for its funding. Registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all donations to Pound Buddies are tax-deductible.

HUGE PET EVENT!!!

We are so excited to work with our friends from Big Lake Humane Society to bring this FREE vaccine & microchip event to Muskegon cats and dogs!

Mark your calendars for December 13th from 11am -1pm. Then stick around for a visit and photos with Santa.

Protect your pets by keeping them vaccinated. And free microchips help identify lost pets.

Help needed today for dog kennels!

Do you have some time to spare this morning? We are adding additional protection to our outdoor holding kennels to help keep the snow out of this weekend (and winter).

These kennels are for holding while we clean so we want to keep the dogs warm and safe.

We are out purchasing more materials right now. We'll be started around 10:30am. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

A VERY important job!

Thank you Jeff and Lisa Lanae Edwards Lohman for coming in today and spending some quality time with our puppies.

Of course, getting to snuggle puppies may seem like a dream job....but this wasn't random playtime, this was non-verbal, hands on, calming time.

Everything we do at the shelter is designed for keeping our dogs not only physically healthy but mentally healthy. Reducing stress and calming activities are crucial. Today Jeff and Lisa were tasked with several of our puppies🥰 thank you guys!

A huge thank you to Thomas Lensegrav who did the same thing with our large breed dogs. Big and small they all need extra TLC!

And of course thank you to the best staff in the world 🩷 for all of your work today🙂

WOW! what a treat for all of the dogs! Brand new kongs filled with yummy dog friendly Thanksgiving dinner.

Its their annual KONGSGIVING and this Incredible organization has been busy preparing and hand stuffing thousands of kongs to treat dogs in shelters across the state! (Check out their FB!)
