I am excited to announce I will be offering training and boarding at Trails End Ranch! Trails End Ranch is a beautiful facility located in Hesperia, MI.

What Trails End Ranch offers:
-Nice rubber matted 10x12 stalls
-Turn out pens
-120x60 indoor arena
-Large outdoor arena
-Round pen
-Obstacle course
-Wash rack

We also have easy access to Pines Point National Forest that has miles of wooded trails!

Full service is provided. We turn in/out, provide hay, water, and clean pens.

Private lessons are available during the week. Professional training is available for tune ups, c**t starting, and finishing work.

One of my favorite things about c**t starting is seeing the progress. From a young horse who knows nothing at all, to taking their first steps with someone on their back, to then taking the first few steps of a canter. Though at times starting a c**t can be difficult it’s so rewarding and thrilling to finally see them understand what you are asking of them.

Here are just a handful of c**ts I have started from ground work, to first steps in the saddle, to cantering for the first time!

Looking for someone to start your c**t?

I have spots open this spring and summer!

“A good foundation isn't just anything, it is everything”-Don Dodge.

“The first six weeks of a horse's life under saddle is the most important of his life”-Clinton Anderson.

It’s so important to start your horse off right. The first thing a horse learns will stay with him. So, if he learns bad behaviors from the start, those bad behaviors will stick, and it can take a long time to reprogram your horse. However, instilling good habits and behaviors are key to laying the perfect foundation allowing you to take your horse in any direction.

My goal with every c**t is to form good habits from the start. Getting them to become soft, supple and relaxed are key foundational pieces to having the finished horse you want in the future. These are important first steps to gaining trust and establishing the horse’s partnership with a human.

I have experience starting c**ts and have perfected my techniques through my training with the Ken Mcnabb Certification Program. Creating solid foundations on young horses is a passion of mine. I love seeing horses grow, flourish, and prosper.

Hello everyone! I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new business, Grace Luker Horsemanship.

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself, and the business. Grace Luker Horsemanship is an independently owned horse training business located in Muskegon, Michigan. My aim is to create a beneficial difference in each horse I train to make your horse more enjoyable to ride.

Before horses, my faith has always been the biggest part of my life. Jesus first, then horses. With that said, horses have also been a very big part of my life. I have grown up riding and taking lessons from a young age. However, I found that I really love training horses. I grew in my knowledge with each horse that came my way. In 2021 I decided to pursue professional certification to train horses. I attended my first certification clinic with Ken Mcnabb and this past year I completed my Master Trainer Certification through Ken Mcnabb Horsemanship.

Training horses has always been a passion of mine. I have always loved the animal first and the sport second. I believe in natural horsemanship and creating a trusting partnership between you and your horse.
