Beach access has been restored at Kruse Park, a popular dog beach in Muskegon, after high water eroded the staircase four years ago. It’s a straight path down, just 45 steps to the sand and then a one-mile stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline is open for you and your furry friend — note that leash and pet waste rules are enforced.

Our sweet little Miya is the center of attention on National Pet Day. At 7 years old, she's still full of energy, loves playing with her favorite toys, going for long walks around the block and the occasional boat ride ❤️

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Just about the time I was celebrating 8 years in business, we lost our sweet boy Oliver. He was just shy of his 16th birthday and although we knew we didn’t have a lot of time left with him he took a very sudden turn for the worse and passed away. I’ve still been working and most importantly focusing on Miya who lost her best friend too. We miss him very much ❤️

JUNIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM!
We are so excited to offer volunteer opportunities to kids 10-17 years old!

A junior volunteer orientation will be held this week on:
Monday, July 3rd at 5:00pm
Thursday, July 6th at 5pm
Saturday, July 8th at 10 am
An orientation with the junior volunteer and parent is required prior to registering your child.
(Orientation is 1 hour)

All information and questions will be answered during orientation. 😁

Junior volunteer hours will be scheduled in two hour time slots throughout our day. (to be covered at orientation as well)

If your child loves animals and can work hard to help care for them, we would love to help them learn all about rescue and sheltering 👍

Space is limited, please call and reserve your orientation spot for this week!
