Boston Terrier & Short Nose Rescue Of Oklahoma Boston Terrier & Short Nose Rescue Of Oklahoma is a 501c3 nonprofit that strives to rescue Boston Terriers from kill shelters and unsuitable situations.

All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered, health checked, microchipped, and up to date on shots. The love of the breed led to adoption, but the love of the dog led to starting a rescue. Sweet Madison was only 9 years old when she lost her battle with bladder cancer. It is because of her that Boston Terrier Rescue of Oklahoma was established just one year later. Madison will be remembered for many

, many years to come through the work we do for other Bostons. We might not have been able to save her life, but we will do our best to save as many others as we can! We have dogs being fostered in Muskogee, Tulsa and OKC.

Starting the new year off with a freedom ride!

This handsome guy was in a local kill shelter. His stray hold was up today, so one of our wonderful volunteers went and brought him home! He’s way too thin, has blood in his urine and smells atrocious. He will see a vet asap. In the meantime, he’s sleeping off his shelter stay on a pile of laundry he found. Rest up, buddy! You’re safe now.

Meet Otis Behr! This poor guy found himself at the shelter and he was in such bad shape and we just couldn't leave him there. He has been great at gaining weight and is so friendly and playful. Mr. Carter came out of his crate tonight! It’s been 6 days and he’s finally decided no one is going to hurt him. He still has a long way to go, but his foster is being very patient and loving with him. ❤️

Our little man now has a name! His foster has been calling him Carter. He’s coming out of his shell a little more everyday. You guys have REALLY come through for him! We are still getting stuff in from Amazon for him! We also received monetary donations for him! Once everything comes in from Amazon, we will make sure to get it to his foster so he can start enjoying it all. You can see in this video how bad his coat is. The Boston TLC group has offered to do a fundraiser for him also. We will be posting about that soon. We can’t thank you enough for supporting our Carter! ❤️
