⚾️ SWING BATTER BATTER, SWING!!!⚾️

We will be hosting the Mustang Reign 10U baseball team tomorrow, Sunday Aug. 4th! From 12-3p in our parking lot, there will be plenty of plates of delicious food and desserts! All proceeds will go to the team, to help support them during the upcoming season.

UPDATE: His owners were found, and are on their way to pick him up! Thank you all for sharing!!!!

This little cutie was found yesterday at Hampton Inn in Mustang (1320 E SH-152). He was reported to the front desk at Hampton Inn, but no one has claimed him yet, or reported him missing. He is microchipped, but unfortunately it is not registered. We are in the process of digging deeper into the microchip. Please help us share this and get the word out there, in case his owners are traveling!

We all know how difficult it can be to lose a fur baby at home, and over the weekend, no less. When that time does come, a popular question is “what do we do now?” We are here to help however we can, so are our local pet cemeteries, that offer both private cremation, and group cremation for those who do not wish to have any ashes returned. Most pet cemeteries take phone calls on the weekend to help coordinate pickup or drop off. We understand home burial isn’t always an option. Please feel free to reach out with any questions in regard to options after your beloved baby has passed. Our Facebook messages are monitored, even on weekends when we are closed, and we will always do our best to help in a timely manner.
To any community members who may have noticed extra attention at our dumpster today, unfortunately there was a deceased pet found inside. Our team members were able to successfully retrieve this baby with dignity, for our wonderful animal control officer to be able to step in and take care of (thank you!). However, we do ask for our dumpsters to not be the final resting place for your pet. We appreciate our community’s support, and will always take great pride in being here to help! 🤍🐾

This baby was found in the neighborhood behind Walmart in Mustang (59th and Sara), and brought in to be scanned for a microchip. (No microchip found). Does anyone recognize? Safe with finder for now.

These precious babies are looking for their forever homes at Mustang Animal Welfare Center! Their adoption fee is $35.

The beautiful dilute calico is a Polydactyl (look at those extra thumbs!) that is spayed and up to date on vaccines. All of her kittens have found their homes, and now it’s her turn! She has the sweetest personality!

The black and white kitten may look like he’s seen some things, but he’s really just looking for a home!

Please help us get these kitties into homes, and out of the shelter!!! 🐾

UPDATE: Y’all rock more than we can ever acknowledge!!!! These precious babies have found a foster, and are safe!!! We can’t thank you enough for sharing, and for all of the offers to help!!!

💥This is an urgent, very time sensitive matter!

Our friends are in need of some help! Friends of Metro Animal Shelters have been asked for help finding placement for 3 newborn kittens, that were found abandoned and in need of either a nursing mom, or an experienced kitten foster. They have reached out to other local rescues, without much luck of finding a foster yet.

If you have experience with neonatal kittens, and would like to foster these precious babies, please reach out to FOMAS, or we can get you in touch with them!

Fosters must have an approved application with the rescue, and the rescue will provide supplies and veterinary care for these babies.

As we get closer to the 4th of July and firework season, please keep your furry friends in mind!

🎆 If your pet has noise anxiety, please start considering getting their medications filled now, especially if your pet is due for their annual exam. Please allow us 24 hours to fill their medication!

🎆 Please make sure your pets have their collars on, with proper identification: name tag, rabies tag, microchip tag, air tag, etc. If you wish to have your pet microchipped, we are flexible with appointments! Please give our office a call at 405-376-4556 to schedule.

🎆 Please check your gates as the time gets closer, so many pets end up missing from trying to get away from the noise!

Alright, friends, we have another one! This kid was found wandering around Meadows Park (Hwy 152 between Mustang Rd and Sara), and has no microchip. The finder intends on taking him to the shelter tomorrow. Any chance we can find this kiddo’s owners? Please help share! 🐾

Does anyone recognize this cat? This sweet little gal was found on Griggs Street in Mustang (neighborhood off of Czech Hall and 152). She is safe in the garage for the night, in case we do end up getting storms. She will be brought to the clinic tomorrow morning, to be scanned for a microchip, and checked over.

This kiddo was found just outside of Mustang off of Frisco and 59th, three days ago. This dog is not microchipped, and is safe with finder for the night! Please help us get this baby home!

Echo had a great day out, at the Friends of Metro Animal Shelters adoption event! He’s such a perfect gentleman in the car, a professional car rider, some would even say! He got lots of good pets today, but we are still looking for his forever home.

Echo is 6 years old, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. He is blind, but knows how to maneuver his surroundings! His adoption fee is sponsored, so he just needs to meet his perfect match! 🤍🐾

We are still looking for this sweet baby’s family. She is freshly groomed, but we believe she has been groomed at home, so she may look different from when she went missing.

Does anyone recognize this kiddo? A client found this pup around Rockwell and 74th today. Unfortunately, her microchip is not registered. I have already contacted the rescue to try to get more information, but we are trying to find her owners in the meantime. Please help us get her back home! 🐾

These beautiful babies are up for adoption still! Hanz, Franz and Reba are all around 2 years old. Echo is 5 and blind, but that doesn’t slow him down. They’re all big lovebugs, who just want a home to call their own! Please share to help get their faces out there!!!

UPDATE: As of 10:00, we are open. Our parking lot and the side roads are very icy, so PLEASE be safe if you decide to venture out today!

Due to icy road conditions, Mustang Animal Health will be opening late this morning. We anticipate for that to be around 10, and will keep you updated as the morning progresses.
