It is never easy saying goodbye. Got another note today!

Hi Jody,
It is with much sadness that we are writing to let you know that we had to put our sweet Buckshot down recently. He would have turned 13 in January. He was our constant companion, just wanting to be where we were and be petted and loved. He was Kevin’s best hunting buddy and never happier than when out in the field or on our walks around the neighborhood. We miss him so much.

Jasper is doing great, but is missing Buck. He just turned 3 this month. He is an excellent hunter and companion. He is a very talented dog. Christie calls him her “Heisman trophy quarterback”.

Jody, we want to thank you for all you have done and continue to do to provide such excellent dogs. They are not only the best in their breed but they are family to those of us lucky enough to have one. Thank you for all the hours of sacrifice and love you have poured into breeding them for us. It matters and is much appreciated.

It is always heartbreaking when we have to say good bye. When I received this email, I smiled a bit too. Over the last 20 years, I have had 6 puppies returned. Finding them the perfect forever home makes my heart happy. This is one of those stories! Hugs to Mark and his family!

Thank you for our dog!! We adopted our Brittany as a return-dog in 2014. His name was Duke, but my son re-named him Doug. You in fact showed him a few times before we adopted him.

I am writing to say that he was the joy of my life. Yesterday was his last day alive; we had him put down. He was close to 12 years old with numerous health issues and he developed severe seizures in his last few months alive.
Thank you for everything. I will remember him forever. Mark

I received the most precious gift today!!! I just cried happy tears as I looked through this book.
Jen included every one of Nellie's pups. I know it took her a lot of time going through the pictures posted to this page. She said she also had help from the other owners. I am overwhelmed by this group of owners and their Nellie pups. I am honored to have placed a pup in each of these homes! Huge thank Jen!!
