through 40 plus acres of picturesque fields. We also breed and promote one of the worlds` rarest equine of Akhal-Teke horses which originated in Karakum Dessert, former territory of Persia a three thousand years ago. Our horse guides have years of experience training horses and working with riders. We offer lessons, trail riding, birthday parties and affordable boarding. See you at the Ranch!

I came across this old photo of cow hunters in Miakka online. The term “Cow hunters” was preferred to “cowboy” and they hunted and rounded up the wild cracker cattle left behind by Spanish contact. The state we know today was built on cattle farming. A great read to give you an idea is- A Land Remembered. There’s a children’s version too. It was a hard life in some very inhospitable terrain, but they and Florida’s Native people persisted. History is very important.
