Sadly with a large elderly canine clientele - because they are only here for an hour or so, which means they are less anxious & stressed - we have had quite a few long time clients pass away over the summer.😭😭

As everyone is hearing, this week is going to be dangerously hot. Please remember our pet family members can not handle the heat like we do (sweating). They are at risk for serious burns on their feet from hot pavement. Cars are deadly within minutes.
Do not walk (or run!!) your pups this week except in the very early morning hours, watch humidity, it may still be crazy hot. Even outside in the yard in the heat of the day, it should be fast potty breaks & back inside.
If your pup is high energy, find indoor brain activities on the internet.
That will wear your dog out!!
***with school out, remind your children not to walk the dogs this week***

A rare week of availability! I have a few openings this week on Wednesday & Thursday!

True one on one grooming, clients drop off at appointment time & pick up immediately when finished. No other dogs are here, no staggering appointments of others showing up while yours are being worked on, your dogs don’t spend hours in a crate surrounded by other stressed, barking, whining dogs in a room of noisy dryers/clippers & people. And cheaper than mobile!
Most appointments average from 1-1 1/2 hours.

Last week this sweet girl, Abby, a Great Pyrenees, came to see me. I don’t normally do them because they are too big full grown for my equipment but she is only 8 months, didn’t have a full pyr coat. Plus she was an abuse recovery situation, which pulled my heartstrings. She had been left behind, locked in a house. She is slowly gaining weight back & learning people don’t always suck.
She did so well & her family was happy to get the stink off her.

Beautiful Maggie got her beautify on yesterday! This sweet girl can have seizures when under stress but she has been coming here for a few years & is always happy to see me & hasn’t had any issues.

Remember those adorable boys I posted 3 weeks ago?
These 2 stinkers are the last of my winter litter. They are 10 weeks old & ready to fly! Their siblings are in their new 🏠 now & they are jealous!😁

Both are boys, extremely healthy, have had their first set of shots, dewormed over the weeks & tested negative, have ridden in cars, litterbox trained (makes housebreaking faster!), used to cats/big dogs/exposed to many different experiences for a sound temperament. They have a 2 year health guarantee.

I’ve bred & shown frenchies since the 90’s. These are some of the nicest pups I’ve had.

A little different type of post than I normally do. In the mid 90’s I got my first french bulldog to show, I started showing boxers in the mid 80’s. Fast forward, I haven’t had a boxer in many years but still have the frenchies. Check out these three 7 week old boys. They are considered black masked brindles, super stripy bodies with velvety black masks.
They are 👀 for pet 🏡 only.

Please be sure to wash your pup’s feet when coming in from walks. Ice melt on sidewalks & roads will burn paw pads as well as being super toxic when licking feet. Antifreeze spills are deadly & if they walk through them on walks, they will lick their feet & ingest it.

In return, each person that makes a donation will be given the opportunity to enter our drawing for a gift basket which can be a gift for yourself, or help you wrap up your holiday shopping. Winner will be announced at 11 AM at the market, and can be picked up by 11:30, or can be picked up during regular business hours from the Myersville Town Office beginning 10 AM on Monday.

⭐️⭐️This is your mid summer reminder⭐️⭐️
Check your pupper’s ears, feet (between toes & paw pads), belly, & overall skin health. We have had many days now of high heat & humidity. Yeast, bacteria, & chronic skin conditions always flare up in this weather & need veterinary attention. 😁

Please be safe with your beloved puppers over the next week. And if you set off fireworks, please be aware the damage it does to wildlife & veteran/folks with ptsd.

PLEASE REMEMBER people with fireworks can’t handle just shooting them off JUST on the 4th of July. They have them in hand so they will be going off randomly every day for at least the next week!

Make sure your dogs have collars and tags on at all times! Please leash walk them even in your backyard!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO FIREWORKS SHOWS!!!

DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO KEEP THEM SAFE JUST LIKE YOU WOULD A HUMAN CHILD!

STAY SAFE AND LEAVE YOUR DOGS AT HOME WITH THE TV OR RADIO ON LOUDLY WHEN YOU LEAVE!

They do not understand the suddenly loud bombs going off to their hyper sensitive hearing.

THIS IS ALL ON US AS PET PARENTS! NO EXCUSES!

I have eggs! 🐓 & 🦆

I know it’s a weird post for a grooming page but my girls are super happy & producing like crazy! Eggs are always within a few days of being laid. If you’ve never had pasture raised fresh eggs, you don’t know what you’re missing! Google how old grocery store eggs are 😝

If you would like to pick some up at your grooming appt, or anytime really, let me know. I don’t have a huge flock so quantities can be limited at times.

To make this grooming related, I am accepting small & medium sized new clients. At this time I can’t take on any new large dogs.
One on one with your pup, no employees, your dog is done in 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
