The Myrtle Beach Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment from February 20 through February 21, 2025, as part of a program to achieve state accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards.

Administered by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc., the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.

Anyone wishing to submit written comments about the Myrtle Beach Police Department's ability to comply with the standards for accreditation may send them to:

One of the things my clients enjoy most about having their dogs trained by VK9S is the boarding.

If your pup has been trained by me you no longer have to send them to those dirty, disease filled kennel facilities.

There are no young kids working here making $10 an hour. This is my home and I am the one that looks after your pet. Im trained in canine emergency care which could be the difference between your pet being alive or not when you go to pick them up.

Never more than three dogs at a time vs a facility holding 100+ dogs over the weekend between training and boarding because all they care about is the money. Your fur baby deserves better!

*Update—Saturday, November 23, 2024: Allie Woody has been located. Sadly, it is not the outcome we had hoped for.
We sincerely thank everyone who shared information and supported the efforts during the investigation. Our thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department is currently investigating a missing person case regarding Allie Woody, 30. Allie is 5'6", approximately 125 pounds and is possibly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, tan sweatpants, and eye glasses. Allie is also possibly driving a gold Ford F-350 Pickup Truck with Arizona plate number PZA0CWA.

Anyone with information that can help bring Allie home safely is urged to contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department's non-emergency number of

Most dog trainers in the Myrtle Beach area conduct training at dirty facilities and in open fields. I’ve never understood how that’s going to help anyone with issues in their home or when they are out and about with their dog. With VK9S your loved one stays at my home goes on field trips two places you would actually take them.
