With our baby boy's due date less than 2 weeks away, not only have I been preparing freezer meals for Tyler and I, but I'm doing similar for our labrador, Luke! I have stuffed every kong and toppl with peanut butter, yogurt, applesauce and/or pumpkin. Luke also enjoys finding surprises like treats and blueberries in his kongs! These are all loaded and in the freezer. I plan to use them to not only keep Luke stimulated, but to give him something to do when we can't give him our full attention like he's used to.
Luke also enjoyed licking out the last bits of peanut butter from the jar!

What a great way to end public manners group training classes! Great bunch of dogs and parents for a walk around the market common. So much fun was had by all!

Week 4 of group training at Lowe's! It's been nothing short of fantastic to see these pups (and parents!) grow in their skills and confidence. We worked on practicing patience this week and the pups were so impressive!! I will forever love doing group training classes 🐾🎉

Week 3 of Public Manners Group Training Class at the Marshwalk is always sooo much fun! Both groups of dogs saw tons of distractions including other dogs, people, strollers, Halloween decorations, costumes, etc. We saw so many dogs gain confidence working through such a busy location. 👏🎉🐾

Week 2 at Market Common is always 1 of my favorites!! So much fun getting the dogs out and working with so many distractions: dogs, people, strollers, bicycles, geese, traffic, etc. So many good dogs conquering it all!! 🐾

🐾 Wednesdays @ 5pm starting October 2 or Saturdays @ 9am starting October 5 (I will be out of town 10/26, so Saturdays will be a 4 week course, over 5 weeks)
🐾 New location every session: Home Depot, Market Common, Marshwalk, & Lowe's Home Improvement
🐾 Working on the skills required to have a well behaved dog while out in public
🐾 $150 for the entire course

This Saturday morning group has done awesome, despite having to battle the heat! Many distractions in the form of dogs and people at both the marshwalk and market common. Yesterday, the pups happily waited in line while their mom's got coffee. Awesome job teams!!!

So incredibly proud of this Wednesday night public manners group training class!! We went to the marshwalk tonight and it was PACKED! These pups and their humans did amazing navigating through the crowds. The dogs remained focused on their people and happily accepted pets from people of all ages. Absolutely outstanding work!!!!
Also, last week's picture from when we went to the market common since I forgot to post it!

First meeting of my newest public manners group dog training class!! What a great bunch of dogs (and people!)!!!
I still have a spot available in my class starting this Saturday. If summer isn't a good time for you to join, let me know and I'll add you to my fall/winter list. I do this class year round! So much fun!

It's not too late to register for the Paddle for PAALS parade this Saturday at 2pm! Launching out of the public boat landing by Belin Memorial Church. You can register at paddleforpaals.org
If you can't attend the parade, please consider making a donation to this awesome cause that trains service dogs for people in need!
