• Body Changes in the Dam: The dam’s abdomen will begin to enlarge noticeably. You might also see a clear vaginal discharge, which is normal.

🐾 Puppy Training Tips for Our Amazing Puppy Parents! 🐾

Hey, LMU Goldens family! We know how exciting (and sometimes challenging) these first few weeks with your new puppy can be. To help you along the way, we’ve put together some essential training tips to ensure your little one grows into a well-behaved and happy companion! 🐶✨

🕒 Establish a Routine
Puppies thrive on consistency. Set regular times for meals, potty breaks, and bedtime to help them feel secure and adjust more easily.

🏡 Crate Training
Crate training provides your puppy with a safe space and helps with potty training too! Make it cozy and inviting, and remember to keep the experience positive with treats and praise.

🚽 Potty Training
Take your puppy outside frequently—especially after meals, naps, and playtime. Celebrate their successes with lots of praise and maybe a little treat! 🎉

🐾 Basic Commands
Start with simple commands like "sit," "stay," and "come." Short, fun training sessions work best for young puppies. Patience and consistency are key! 🗝️

🐶 Socialization
Introduce your puppy to new people, places, and other pets (once they’re fully vaccinated). This helps them grow into a confident and friendly adult dog.

🎾 Exercise & Playtime
Puppies have tons of energy! Regular play and exercise help burn off that energy and keep your puppy happy and healthy. Plus, it’s a great way to bond!

🦴 Chew Toys
Teething puppies love to chew! Provide plenty of appropriate chew toys to protect your furniture (and shoes!). This will also help soothe those little gums.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐬 🍓🍌🍚

Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana 🍌
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced 🍓
- 1/2 cup rice flour 🍚
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
- 1 egg

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 🧑‍🍳
2. In a bowl, mash the banana until smooth. 🍌
3. Stir in the diced strawberries and mix well. 🍓
4. Add the rice flour, Greek yogurt, and egg to the banana mixture. Mix until combined. 🍚
5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly. 🥄
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the snacks are firm and lightly golden. ⏲️
7. Allow the snacks to cool completely before serving them to your dog. 🧊
