🆘URGENT: Walter Needs Your Help🆘

This morning, Walter, one of our beloved rescue pups, woke up with his third re**al prolapse. Just six weeks ago, he beat parvo! Walter will likely need a more intensive surgery to ensure the prolapse doesn’t return, and without it, his condition could worsen significantly. Rescue Tails is at a breaking point—Walter’s medical costs, on top of the other cases we’ve taken on, are overwhelming our ability to continue saving animals. It’s SPAY DAY! Not quite the pampering of a spa day, but Matilda will be getting the royal treatment from her favorite doctor and all her caring friends at South Robeson Vet Clinic!

🐾Matilda Needs Your Help! 🐾

Matilda has been on quite a journey over the last six weeks. After being trapped, she’s been treated for contagious mange and a tick-borne illness, she’s making incredible progress! Her recent skin scraping was negative (yay!), and her fur is growing back beautifully. She looks amazing, and her sweet temperament is shining through. However, Matilda still has a long road ahead.

Here’s what’s coming up for her:
🗓️ Tomorrow (11/20): Spay surgery - $160
🗓️ Next Tuesday (11/26): Heartworm treatment begins - $303.63

With the cost of her spay, heartworm treatment, and additional boarding, Matilda’s total vet bill by the time she’s ready for pickup next week will be approximately $2,100.

Meet Max! 🐾

Max is a resilient 2-year-old pup with a heart as big as his playful spirit. This sweet boy came to us after being surrendered to a shelter when his family couldn’t care for him properly. When Max arrived, he was covered in fleas and had lost most of his fur—but those days are behind him! With love and care, Max is now flea-free, his beautiful coat is growing back, and he’s ready for a fresh start.

🌱 Meet Matilda: The Chia Pet of Dogs in Need of a Foster Home 🌱

Matilda came into our lives from a rough start. Abandoned under a vacant house, this sweet girl looked like she was turning to stone, nearly hairless and alone. But four weeks in the care of a loving vet, and guess what? Matilda is sprouting! Just like a chia pet, her hair is slowly coming back, transforming her into the beautiful dog we know she’ll become. 🐶

Matilda might one day bloom into a stunning rose—but she comes with a few thorns. She’s a very scared pup, needing someone with patience and understanding to help her learn to trust again. If you’re up for a challenge, Matilda has a unique little habit of pretending she’s an alligator when she’s on a leash. Her gator rolls, twists, and turns are so perfectly executed, she’d make the Gator Boys proud! 🐊
