Busy day in store! Doing laundry right now. Ella is going with Comet to see their Auntie Lori of The Peaceful Paw at Angel Pets for her first massage! Then I think a little MINDZERO action is looking good for later. After I get home from all of that, I have to think about making dinner.. Getting tired thinking about it, but we have to keep ourselves in good condition. Dock diving for Ella over the weekend, and Regionals in a couple of weeks!!

We had a great day at Teamworks Dog Training, LLC! I was going in thinking that Ella may not jump as she seems to not like "new" docks. Boy, she proved me wrong! The jumps weren't great, but I was happy that she had the confidence to go off a dock she'd never seen before! Comet had a few moments in his own right. Somewhere he found a master jump, going a distance of 13'3". If he had pulled one more out the tank, he would have titled in Masters. Oh well - goals! Ella also got mail when we arrived home! We have some work to do for sure before the end of July. Ella needs 8 jumps and Comet needs 7 to accept our invites! Overall, it was a great day with our friends! Had a great day out on the course three toe tappin'! My scores were not at all the best - I know I can do better! - but I showed up, played without quitting (I felt like it a couple times!), got a few discs and had fun! I won the FA50 division, and got a raffle prize to boot! Thank you Bearded Sloth Disc Golf for putting on a fun shindig! Ending out the day getting clean and a lil' dirty!

Team Southern Songs is popular in the dog sport community as we have Jack Russell Terriers that keep the audience entertained. Comet has been dock diving since he was 6 months old and is a force to be reckoned with in his division. His personal best is 15'6", which is quite a feat for a 12.75" tall terrier! Ella is the newest terrier to our group. She is still learning, but she is always a crowd pleaser! We try to make it to at least 12 regular events a year and 2-3 specialty events, where we are in front of upwards of 5000 people. We have been invited to Westminster, which is partially televised.
