They started pouring the asphalt today at River Oaks Animal Hospital, Myrtle Beach. The parking lot will be ready soon.
Written on the Walls
Last weekend some of the team blessed the walls of the new hospital with scripture, prayers, and inspirational quotes. It was a very cool experience and we will now be surrounded by positivity in the new space. I wanted to capture all that was written since pretty soon it will be covered by drywall so here is a compilation of all the blessings.
Respiratory Disease Update:
Recently there was a report that a confirmed case of the "mystery" disease was found in South Carolina. There are no official reports and the only evidence found was a Facebook post from a veterinary clinic in Aiken. We have no reason to believe there is an outbreak in Myrtle Beach and have not seen any cases that are beyond what we normally see this time of year.
If you would like more information about the respiratory disease watch this webinar that is being led by industry experts. Please do not panic as this does not appear to be a concern at this time. Take normal precautions such as vaccinating your pets, avoiding unknown dogs, if your pet is sick do not take them around other dogs, and let us know if your pet is not feeling well.

Shewwwww what a week of fun! The theme for the last day of #employeeappreciationweek was โYou Brighten our Day! โ. We started with a rise and shine breakfast from The Trestle Bakery and Cafe and then continued on to candle making with Lucid Coast Candle Bar! What a great week itโs been for the #bestteamever! Our doctors are the best around!
To bring our Team Appreciation Week to a close, I want to highlight our doctors. Dr. Tacy, Dr. Pennington, Dr. Meg, Dr. Ethan, and Dr. Paul are amazing. Not only are they all fantastic doctors but they are genuinely fantastic people. When I am sitting in my office and I overhear the collaboration, the laughter, and the brilliant case management, it really makes me so proud to have River Oaks Animal Hospital. This group of talented doctors are the best around and we are blessed to have them on our team.
