Today was a very emotional day for me. I didn’t get to compete, but I did get to help my friends prepare for their competitions. It was a small consolation. Their love and support means everything to me and so does Benny’s health. I am optimistic about abstract tomorrow and very proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and into competition for the first time. My compassion for animals and gentle grooming is core value within me that I will never compromise. The dogs will always come first whether in my salon, my home, or in the ring. This isn’t about us after all… It’s been a struggle to see Benny unwell but I know he will be better once he’s back home with his mom.
