We’ve been conditioned to believe “wellness” lives on a store shelf. That you need supplements, gadgets, gym memberships, or retreats to feel whole again.

But real wellness has always been free found in the soil, the sun, and the slow moments we overlook.

When you live close to the earth, you start to realize how much healing happens in the simple things: pulling weeds instead of scrolling, breathing in fresh air instead of city fumes, and teaching your kids that food doesn’t come from a box it comes from the ground.

You don’t have to buy your way back to health.
You can live your way there one slow morning, one homegrown meal, one barefoot step at a time. 🌿

NOBODY told me there were bunny sheep in the world! I HAVE to snag me these 😩😩

This little lamb is a Border Leicester Sheep if anyone is wanting to search it up, lol. They are known for their long upright ears. LITEEALLY BUNNY EARS GUYS 😱😆😆

Just animals and snow. They all have shelter they choose to be outside when it's not snowing.They can get inside a barn at any time if they choose to do so.

Cold weather coming in.. Freezing tenps and chance of snow 🙈😮. Sooner than normal this year. We've been prepping and preparing to make sure everyone stays warm and healthy.

TN weather is all over the place.

Things to remember for when your preparing for the cold⏬️

Rabbits: They are actually much better in cold than people think. Make sure they stay DRY and keep wind off of them and they do great! We have an automatic water system but with out rabbits being outside in the winter it does freeze so we have bowls we use in the winter to make sure they have water at all times. When we have litters during the cold we make sure to keep an eye on babies and keep the nest box clean and plenty of hay and fuelr for babies.

Goats: keep them DRY and warm. Goats need at least a 3 sided shelter. We have their shelters and put up a tarp on front opening to help break the wind. They also have plenty of straw in winter to help keep them warm.

Chickens: we do put up tarps and plastic for our chickens in winter, on the pens that are more open. We make sure when they are roosting they are comfortable. One thing to remember that many forget is VENTILATION! They have to have some air flow or the ammonia will build up and will cause respiratory issues and youll have more problems on your hands.

Horses: We have many horses. Each horse does have their own blanket. We do not always blanket them, only if extremely cold. (All live outside not in barn). If one is sick or older we do blanket them then also as it affects them regulating their temp when sick.

We do multiple daily checks on our animals year round, but do extra checks also. Especially when its super hot or super cold outside.

Our animals health and well being is our top priority.
