Good day! I have some news to share with you all. Due to some medical issues, I will be halting lessons temporarily. I have been diagnosed with bad bulging discs in my cervical spine, which has caused my spinal cord to become deformed. I am experiencing some unusual symptoms due to pinched nerves, and it is causing permanent damage to my spinal cord. However, the surgery is expected to be straightforward, and I should be back to offer private lessons by late November. Thank you for your kind wishes. Shedding season is upon us! I got one of those blowers off of Amazon and it is so much better than brushing! Any person with a double coated dog definitely needs one. Link in comments

I have a lot of people struggle with work schedules, kid events, their own personal goals and finding time to train. This speaks volumes to those people! I try to reassure them, will the dog be good at these commands next week? No but eventually they will. Even if you’re life is chaotic and busy, there is no timeline and no one to compare your and your dog’s journey to. Consistency is key, even if it is slow going.

No one is the same as you. No dog is the same as your dog. No one is walking the same path as you, never has and never will.
You can’t be behind and you can’t be in front, because you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.
