Meet Henry, a 3 year old buddy who isn’t huge on being picked up but is huge on love. #rescuecatsofig #tabbycat #sheltercatsofig
This is baby angel is having a rough time! She’s been in our custody for months, and after being passed up by adopters we tried a new audience at PetSmart. She’s been there a month! Please say hi to her, she might be the kitty for you. Located at the Nampa PetSmart!
Today in the Kitten Korral… lots of shiny panthers and a shy baby who needs help coming out of their shell. August 20.

An update on West Valleys dismissal of cat services, one month later.
An update on the dismissal of all cat services from West Valley Humane Society. It has been 4 weeks since West Valley announced the ceasation of all services for cats.
Pet Haven has been in contact with both Jennifer Adkins (Executive Director on leave), and Ruben Buenrostro (Human Resources and Interim Director) and they have formally declined all help, support and collaboration for solutions with Pet Haven.
To find out more, and to see how you can help, watch the video and donate to pethavencats.org
There’s a new kitten in the suite! Meet Joy, a super-cute eight month old girl who’d love to meet you 😺 As always, no appointment is necessary, so come on in and get some cuddles! 😻🥰
Addressing West Valley’s new zero cat services protocol and what it means for Pet Haven, local cats, and this community
Addressing West Valley's new zero cat protocols and what it means for Pet Haven, cats, and the local community. Help us find real solutions.
We’re at Nampa PetSmart today from noon to 4pm! Come on down and find your new furry family member! 😻
One year old girl Halo has a really unusual purr: it sounds like a normal purr with a cooing sound on top of it. (You may need to turn up the sound to hear it.) It’s very cute! 😸🥰
Five year old Hex has been with us since January, when we received her from a shelter where she was on the euthanasia list 😿
When she first arrived, she was a little aggressive, but has since settled down into a sweetheart who loves treats and having her big poofy cheeks pet 😻
This video is from back when she got her first bed —which turned out to be too big, so it looked like a baked potato! 😹 (It was quickly replaced with a less poofy one that fits perfectly 😸)
Some cats, like our lovable boy Butters, don’t really “get” toys. They focus entirely on people’s hands, pawing at the hand holding the toy rather than the toy itself. But there’s usually some kind of toy they’re interested in. For Butters, it’s this electric whack-a-mole (or mouse?) game. He’ll sit with this for a good ten minutes, totally engrossed 😻
Charm is a 10 month old girl who is full of energy! Every day she can’t wait to be let out to play with everyone and everything. The only thing that can slow her down is brushing and cuddles. So if you’re looking for a really fun cat who’s always living her best life, come on down and meet her! 😻🥰
Rocket is a big 8 year old boy tuxedo, and is perhaps the least aptly named cat in the world seeing how he loves nothing more than lounging, getting pets, and purring loudly.
Here’s one of our volunteers giving Rocket his daily grooming and cuddles 😻
Five year old Trove is a very happy boy!😸 His distinctive Elvis-like curled lip is because he is missing a fang🙀
You can meet Trove in the Fat Cat room at our shelter. (There aren’t any actual fat cats in it, it just kept the name from a time it did have some rather plus size kitties.)
A quiet day in the Shy Suite, mostly because Charm (aka “100 pounds of energy in a 4 pound cat”) was living it up in the cattery 😺
Charm and Butters had a sleepover 😸😸
