Best Little Derby in the West 2024 presented by Great Western Reining Horse Association,Inc is underway at the Ford Idaho Horse Park! Thanks Amber McDowell for the memory of No Mans Whizkey and Jordan McBurney for owners David and Terri Stroud. Miss seeing that amazing horse as the Horse Park, but I'm sure he's enjoying his well deserved retirement. BLDW continues through Saturday evening. Come enjoy some spectacular horses, lots of vendors and great food! Free to the public.

What a busy weekend at the Ford Idaho Center and the Ford Idaho Horse Park! Monster Jam in the arena and the annual Idaho Horse Expo at the Horse Park. Please familiarize yourself with the parking plan if you're participating in the Expo so you enter the property at the correct access point and park in appropriate parking areas. Wow! Thank you Idaho Cutting Horse Association for kicking off our 2024 season in record form! Thank you to the trainers, owners, and participants for making the trip to the Ford Idaho Horse Park! Laurie Errington, owner of Scootem-N-Shootem Photography captures the best photos of these amazing equine athletes and we are lucky to have her here. The new show manager, Phil Benadum, is truly amazing and kept the late nights and early mornings running seamlessly! Mark and Dave with Xibition Media were first timers to the Horse Park as the videographer. The livestream and technology Xibition provides was certainly top notch and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. Jamie Pederson was also a 'first timer' to the Horse Park as the ICHA show secretary. It was a pleasure getting to know you Jamie and we hope to see you again soon. John and Lennie Uhrig, there are simply no words to express our gratitude for our relationship with you. Thank you to the ICHA board of directors, the trainers, participants, and owners - YOU are the reason this show was such a success! Lastly, thank you to the crew at the Ford Idaho Horse Park - you are the best in the business!!!

If you’ve never seen the Horse Park during a non equestrian event, check out the annual Canyon County Festival of Trees! The event concluded Monday with a dinner for 500 people and a fun filled evening where local businesses and community members raise funds for Nampa and Canyon County Meals on Wheels. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated a beautiful tree, or purchased an item at the event. Happy Holidays!

The last equine event in 2023 starts arriving on Friday, 10/27. It's going to be VERY busy on the property during the IRCHA event. The parking lot between the SRS Barn and the Idaho Center will not be available to any horse show parking. Passenger vehicles may park in the parking lot outside the Sports Center. Please look over the facility information and don't hesitate to ask question when checking in at the HP Office. Safe travels!!!
