2025 is bringing so much excitement for team Lawrence Performance Horses. We are officially relocated to 4F Performance Horses in Amory, Mississippi. With a 100x200 covered arena weather is no issue for winter or wet conditions! We also offer consistent access to cattle for keeping those cow horses at their best. With a full time assistant we are looking to expand our LPH barn family with openings to a few more horses. Ranch Horse Association of Ky Results

We had a HUGE crew this weekend so I am just going to hit the highlights.

Blu Boon Shining & Jed Lawrence claimed their third Rhaky Cow Horse Cup Championship winning over $1600!

Shez Not Trashy & Jed Lawrence for owner Meghan O’Brien clinched the Reserve Championship winning the reined work and tying for the high fence score adding over $1200 to this mares earnings.

Cat And Reys & Holly Hill entered their second show placing 4,5 in the boxing and Amateur Herd Work.

LCR Catolena Pepto & Grayci Swain had a great weekend horse showing, we love this c**t and are excited to see what he has in store for the future.

Zack Be Spots & Jennifer Bingham went 1,1,2 in the Amateur Boxing!

Beaus Smokin Pepto & Mandi Cain won the Amateur Cow Horse and placed well in their Amateur Classes.

Beaus Smokin Pepto & Jeremy Cain placed in the Senior herd work!

Chics Bottom Dollar & Venessa Messenger placed 2nd in Ranch Riding and had a great trail run.

Drs Sweepea Smoke & Frankie Messenger had a smooth trail run (+ on that back through) and he as always was a trooper turning back for the herd work.

Shining Voodoo Child & Frankie Messenger cleaned up in the Novice Youth Division and won the weekend high point.

He’s A Stylish Oak & Meghan OBrien were lighting it up in the herd work with a little bad luck at the end but great rides in their classes. He also placed with Shelby Nolan 2nd in the Amateur Boxing.
We always enjoy watching this guy show.

Shelby also showed her other gelding with great rides.

Lastly we are excited to bring home a SBF prospect for 2026! Call Me Mitch x Foxy Smarty

It was a great weekend visiting with friends, cheering each other on, and enjoying each other’s company.

We are headed back from the Illinois Ranch Horse Futurity & Fall Show!

Metallic 13 owned by Karen Phillips ended up 5th overall in the Two year old futurity with some nice rides in the trail & ranch riding.
Taylor Kahn also showed him in the In Hand Trail for a 3rd place finish!

Jonny Bravo owned and shown by Taylor Kahn smoked the two year old in hand trail wining under all 3 judges marking a 73! They also had solid rides in the Two Year Old Futurity ended up 10th overall.

Prim Rose owned by Jeremy Williams was a trooper in the two year old futurity with some solid rides.

We are super excited for the future of these nice two year olds!

Hudson In Tinseltown owned by Frank DeAngelo had a solid boxing run and Ranchmanship run with a penalty that kept him just out of the money. He handled the show so well and did all we asked of him!

Frank DeAngelo & Gunnin With Chix won the Working Ranch Horse and are closing in on the Super Ranch Horse title!

Mandi Cain & Beaus Smokin Pepto had some smokin 🔥 rides this weekend! They placed top 3 in the cow horse, herd work, ranch reining, and boxing with one of their best fence runs to date!

Jeremy also showed Beaus Smokin Pepto to a solid run in the senior herd work.

We are looking forward to heading to the Midwest Classic next!

🍁 Fall Finale Results 🍁

Blu Boon Shining & Jed Lawrence added over $1,500 in earnings this weekend winning the Open Bridle Spectacular and Reserve in the Super Spectacular.

Shez Not Trashy & Jed Lawrence for owner Meghan O’Brien ended up 3rd in the Open Bridle Spectacular earning over $400.

LCR Catolena Pepto & Grayci Swain won the green youth class!

Beaus Smokin Pepto & Mandi Cain were 3rd in the Boxing Spectacular and pulled a check in the Non Pro Bridle!

One Feral Cat & Trudi Barrett improved each day with solid runs.

Shining Voodoo Child & Francesca Messenger were 2nd in the Youth Boxing both days and ended 3rd in the Youth Boxing Spectacular.

Sassy N Rich & Francesca Messenger entered the Ranch Rail class and placed 3rd.

Chics Bottom Dollar & Venessa Messenger placed 4th in the Ranch Rail class this morning.

Southeastern Reined Cow Horse Results

Cat And Reys for owner Holly Hill ended up 3rd in the Open Derby adding more NRCHA earnings to his lifetime record!

Shez Not Trashy for owner Meghan O’Brien won the Open Bridle in HS 3, were 2nd in HS 1 and 3rd in Horse Show 2. This mare got better every day, it’s so nice having her back in the show pen. She added a couple hundred dollars of earnings to her resume this weekend!

Frankie Messenger and Shining Voodoo Child won their first NRCHA buckle being Reserve Champions in the Youth Boxing Spectacular! They also unofficially qualified for the Celebration of Champions in February.

Next stop, NYRCHA Show at Garwood Arena in Columbiana, Ohio.

Let’s talk about MARE Power!

Shez Not Trashy owned by Meghan O’Brien came in STRONG! This horse had surgery in April and came back to training mid May.

This was her first *show* since February and did she show out.
228.5 to win the reined work and was 2nd in the fence work in the America’s Top Ranch Hand!

We know you are destined for great things Trashy girl and we are glad to have you back!
