Guyssss listen to this! FUNctional CONNECTIONS, LLC was at my rescue this morning with thier creative and amazing crew and LOOK at what they have been up to! They have been decorating my lounge and added us a nice seating area for our guests. Omg!! Plants, Benches. Seating. Etc. They also made my rescues name in letters and hung them up! Our Ambassador Miss Masey approves and so do I! I can't wait for you all to see it on Saturday! Please help me thank Miss Stephanie and the rest of her crew for their kindness!? We are so so grateful for all they do not only for us, but for folks in our community.

Just a really quick note. Please text or call us at 570-793-1463 if you need us. Especially in an emergency. We aren't always on FB MESSENGER or see all the notifications that come in promptly. For those who knew me way before I owned my own bird rescue when I was just a small child, In case you're wondering, Yes. I still have my very first bird ever! You guys know all about my Sparky! He's almost 5 years old. I got him when he was a baby. First bird I ever trained and tamed.
I rescued, rehabed, and rehomed over 600 birds since. Some I saved from being euthinized and many I saved from dying. I helped so many birds trust and love again and become social again. It's a lot of work, but i wouldn't want it no other way. I fought hard to get here to be able to do this for these birds. :)

Before we head to bed for the night because we have to be on the road early again tomorrow...We have some things on our minds that we would like to talk about. We try to keep everyone in the loop all the time when it comes to our services, but sometimes we fall behind on updates. Please understand, On top of our flock that we've been caring for already, this past week we have rescued another 30 parakeets, 5 Sun Conures, 1 Green Cheek Conure, 5 Macaws, 3 Cockatoos, 2 Senegals and 3 Amazons. To say we have our hands full would be an understatement! We have been to NY. NJ. DE. ALL OVER PA. Etc assisting families in need, Humane Officers, other rescues, and police depts that call us out to pick up birds. We never charge a fee to come out and we try our best to make things work. We are human. We get tired. We get stressed. We are sorry if we haven't gotten back to your messages or calls or posted pics of our available birds yet. We aren't avoiding you. There's no need to message us angrily if we don't return your calls promptly. We prioritize our emergencies first. We are doing all we can with what we are faced with on the daily. **On top of things our rescue van is acting up with the transmission, and we need a new vehicle very soon, and worse yet, get this...some jealous jerk ( we know who it is ) took it upon themselves to have us investigated for charity fraud now!!!! Unreal!!! Can you even believe this crap? We never even recieved any state grants, ever! We rely on our friends who help with food and supplies, and help with gas and tolls. Our adoption fees help keep the place up and running and the birds alive and well. We just get by. The things we face on the daily is exhausting and to have to continually prove ourselves to ignorant people and these places that are called on us all the time, is tiring. Of course all investigations come back clean! It's just sickening how low people can be. We have MANY birds in need of life sustaining care and we do what we can to be some of these birds last chance at a happy and healthy life. That being said. We aren't here to be people pleasers to those who just want drama. We are here to assure the birds that fall into our care, get the care they need and deserve.

Good morning everyone! We know there's been a great deal of messages asking about our adoption process and what birds are available for adoption, so we wanted to say that by the end of the day today, we WILL have an updated list of all our available birds that are ready for new forever homes. It's been back to back rescues and road trips, and we've been very busy taking care of our flock. We have so many feathered friends that cannot wait to meet you! We will also be screening more applications this week as well. We have many to go through but, please expect the call backs coming in the next few days on those applications that had gotten approved already! We are doing our best to keep up! Thank you for your patience.

Back to back rescue calls all week. Off to Danville PA this time. Always on the go to help these birds and the families in need. No questions asked.

They're not just rescues that sitting cages day and night when they come to us. They are family. We love each and every feathered little face that comes in, and we assure they get the proper care, attention and love needed. We let our birds choose their humans and then we assure those humans have what it takes before they leave with a bird. We are always here afterward the adoptions and we love updates from our families! ♡

Evlyn our Bird Whisperer is heading into 7th grade this fall! Can't even believe how fast she's growing up! On her way to becomming an Avian Certified Veterinarian one day! She already has so many years experience with handling and caring for exotic birds and studies every day and night. She even studied with me in my Vet Tech/Vet Medicine courses when I was working toward my Diploma, just to learn more about their care! ♡
