Our hearts are broken....
These precious puppies were dropped off at a local emergency vet by another rescue who didn't want to invest in the critical care they all needed. We took them into Happy Tails and did everything possible to save their lives. They spent over a week in ICU getting all the treatment they needed but it was too late to save them and we had to make the horrible decision to let them peacefully pass over the rainbow bridge.
Be careful where you are adopting from. These innocent lives don't' deserve the fate that humans have inflicted on them.
We're so sorry pups - fly high. You'll always be a part of our Happy Tails Family and we will continue to care for the little ones who need help.
Today we mourn for our boys and all the others who suffer. Tomorrow the sun will rise again and we will recommitment to our rescue mission.
Rest well sweet boys - you deserved better.

Calling a beagle lovers.....Ace and Aggie are ready for their new homes! They are just 3 months old, super friendly and working on their puppy manners. Each would need a patient home with lots of time for training and play. They are up to date with age appropriate vaccines, micro chipped and will be spayed/neutered soon. Or sweet bunnies Erin and Juvia have been with us way too long and really want a home of their own. These sisters enjoy lots of daily greens, fresh hay and an occasional treat. Oh My Cuteness!!!! Look at these two girls, aren't' they gorgeous? First of all they need names (suggestions gladly accepted) and then they need homes. Anyone want some puppy time? Looking for a short term foster from tomorrow until next Wednesday. Ace is a 9 week old beagle pup with lots of energy, full of mischief but really adorable so he can get away with most of it. Just be warned he is not house trained, loves to chew on everything and everyone and already learned to howl just like to big boy beagles. Anyone looking to foster? This cute little dog is a poodle/ Shih Tzu mix, 9 yrs old and loves to play fetch as you can see by the video. He lives with another small dog and young kids - they are getting rid of him because he barks too much so he proably wouldn't be a great apartment pup.
