The post I have been avoiding sharing…

We opened our doors on June 6th 2020. Probably one of the worst times to open a business right in the middle of the covid pandemic. Our customers poured through our doors during these unsteady times and helped give us the best grand opening and welcome that we could have ever received. We have had the most incredible 3.5 years with you all. The numerous parties we have thrown, fundraisers, yappy hours, and events have been the most fun and incredible experience one could have ever asked for. The amount of businesses we have collaborated with and grown with over the years brings me so much joy learning about the people behind the brands. It was amazing seeing all my dreams and visions I had for this cute little space come to life. Truly, I am so blessed. It brings tears to my eyes to have to close this little space of mine but I am so proud of what we have accomplished and so blessed to have met so many amazing and wonderful loyal customers along the way. We will be closing our store March 3rd 2024. We still have so many amazing toys, treats, and apparel in stock and would love it if you would come and visit us in store this month one last time. If you have any gift cards please use them this month with us. All merchandise & furniture must go!

NEW TOY ALERT!!!! 🚨 🐶 We are so excited to accounce that we are carrying the new BAD RAP dog toy. A percentage of all proceeds are donated to ! See below to learn more about this amazing organization that the purchase of your toy will be donated to!

BADRAP was formed in 1999 to tackle the difficult issues that had been bringing suffering and early death to San Francisco bay area pit bull type dogs. They soon developed into a nationally recognized resource for both dog owners and shelters, offering desirable pets for adopters, training classes for dog owners and presentations and professional consultations to animal welfare leaders around the country. Since 2005, they have been providing free training/behavior counseling, vaccinations, microchips, general support to pit bull owners and on-site spay/neuter surgeries to dog owners in under served neighborhoods in the SF East Bay. In 2013, BADRAP purchased a used spay/neuter van to increase the number of surgeries in under served communities in the east bay.

Exciting, exciting guys! For the entire year of 2024, Huggle Hounds is going to help us tell the tale of Jonny and his fellow survivors - thru posts, videos & stories, including insider intel you haven't heard before - and with the help of this adorable Knotty Toy, created by the big hearts at HuggleCause.

If you'd told us back then that one of the dogs from the Bad News Kennels case would live on to educate people about Blocky Dogs 16yrs later, we would've just fainted. And here he is. Please help us thank HuggleCause for making such a bold, big hearted gesture of love for the dogs we call family.
