Miguel is another one of our kittens from a feral colony on 3rd st. Most of the kittens caught and fixed from this location have turned out to be some of the most social cats.

Miguel was trapped when he was extremely ill. We nursed him back to health and he was recently neutered and will be headed to his new home in SF soon.

You can donate to help us help more kittens like Miguel.

ADOPTION NEWS!!

KRISPY KRINGLE now Simon is in his forever home. He will share his home with two small dogs and a burn survivor from the 2017 fires.

Thank you to the community who rallied behind this sweet boy. So glad his recovery was fairly quick and he landed in a great home.

MEET BILLY.

He will be joining us tomorrow. He was adopted a few years ago and went missing. He has shown back up and his person will not be taking him back.
Billy doesn’t want to be an outdoor cat, he wants to be indoors in front of the fireplace or laying in your lap.

We believe he is around 4-5 years old. He is neutered and is having his vaccines and flea meds updated.

SADIE is coming back into our program. Unfortunately she was never able to adjust to life with the cats in the home. So we are looking for an active family that wants to take her on adventures.

She loves hard and plays well with other dogs. We think her best partner dog to live with would be a laid back male and she can be a little bossy.

She has had some training but isn’t a fan of the leash so we will keep working on that. She comes back into our program in a foster home January 13th.

She is just about 2 years old and was born in our program to Momma Hazel!!

FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED.

Meet GIN.

She was rescued from an apartment in SF. But the home she went to locally has two other herding breed dogs that have not excepted her.

She is 2.5 years old, fixed, up to date on all her vaccines, chipped and current on flea and heartworm meds

Gin is great on leash, very smart and would love a job. She needs a strong leader as she never has received that and doesn’t take social cues well. So if in a home with another dog that dog needs to be bomb proof and be able to teach her to dog!

She is super sweet and affectionate with people. One of the nicest girls.

Please reach out if interested.

Remember Willa? She found herself at the Napa County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center last year with a severely damaged leg from being hit by a car. We couldn’t take her in but our friends Wine Country Animal Lovers did. Our Co Founder went to the shelter for a few days and changed her bandages and we helped with a chunk of her leg amputation surgery. After no real interest in the area she went up north to a rescue and she has found her forever family. She was one special dog. Even with all the pain she was in she was so stoic and loving and didn’t know a dog or person she didn’t love. These stories mean so much.

We want to start 2025 by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR and also a huge THANK YOU to Silverado Veterinary Hospital Napa Valley.

This holiday season they set up a donation box and we received so many useful toys, treats and food. All year long they take in our strays, squeeze in emergency spays and whatever crazy things we throw at them. We know when we walk through the door they think oh no what now!!

We couldn’t do what we do with out them. Their vets, techs and the front of the house!! You all rock and hoping to save and help many more this year!!

KRISPY KRINGLE UPDATE

We got this sweet young boy settled into his foster home. He was a little unsure at first but put him on the bed and we both gave him lots of love.

We can’t wait to see him blossom and get a feel for being a house cat.

2024 in review 🩵

This year we were able to help a lot of pets and families in our community.

We spayed and neutered more than 250 cats in our community and found barn homes for over 30 cats.

We helped fix dogs and cats that were owned from Napa and Lake County.

We assisted pet owners with food, medical care and advice. These services help people and pets stay together.

We have handed out more than 4000 pounds of dog and cat food to people in need.

Thank you to Napa Humane Silverado Veterinary Hospital Napa Valley aNapa Valley Veterinary Concierge and Calistoga Pet Clinic

Your services and support help us do this work in our community.

Please donate through the Napa Valley CanDo's GiveGuide through December 31st. We are a volunteer ran group. You help make a difference in our community.
