MODEL was our 11year old senior boy who was recently adopted. We really love our seniors!!

Before Model could be adopted he needed to have lab work and a dental. Those things cost us close to $1500.

Every penny of your donations go back to the animals. So during this season of giving please consider donating local!!

Some fun events ahead.

DEC 7 we will be in the Christmas parade in Napa. Well behaved dogs and their humans wanted to march with us!! Parade starts at 5 pm.

DEC 14 we will be taking photos with Santa and having an adoption event Antiques On Second from 12-2.

DEC 17 come play Bingo at The Fink 6-8. 10$ a card and great prizes. Play 10 games, drink, eat and be merry!!

We also have a drop off box for donations Antiques on Second.

Today we welcomed this sweet older gentleman. He is chipped but his chip is a dead end. He is a sweet boy and use to the comforts of indoor living. He showed so a couple of weeks ago in a yard in Yountville and hasn’t wanted to leave and desperately wanting to be inside. We met him today and he is now in a foster indoors where he belongs.

He will get a full vet check next week and will be available for adoption soon. All 13 pounds of him.

Today is the launch of the Napa Valley CanDo's GiveGuide. This campaign runs from Nov 15- Dec 31.

We are lucky to have partnered with some of our favorite local business to offer some great incentives.

MISS MOO

This girl is a small pocket bully. She loves cats but needs to be the only dog in the home as she doesn’t love to share her humans. She is being fostered with kids and hasn’t met a human she doesn’t like.

He recently had a dental and bloodwork and was all tuned up for his new family. He has settled in and learning his new routine!!

This is a great pet loss support group. We encourage you to attend if you have lost a pet or are caring for a pet in its final days🩵

Did you know that Napa Valley Holistic Veterinary Services offers a free monthly pet loss support group? This month the group will be held on Tuesday, November 19th from 6:30-8PM PST.

Whether you are struggling with the loss of a pet or are currently caring for your terminally ill pet, this group offers a safe, warm and comforting space to discuss your feelings. Anyone is welcome to attend. This intimate group will be co-hosted by Dr. Kimberly Schmidt, owner and head veterinarian of NVHVS, and Rev. Dr. Amanda Tull, a hospice chaplain and retired marriage and family therapist.

Today we picked up this beauty. We helped save her from slaughter by donating to the amazing Pits R' Us All Breed Rescue and Adoptions. We picked her up and delivered her to one of our favorites fosters/adopters.
They have adopted Stinky Sam a one eyed goat from Lake County. Winston a great dog and name sake to our favorite restaurant. They have fostered kittens and just took in two rescue hens that were ready for retirement.
Stay tuned for updates as she settles in!!

Some of our upcoming events. The Napa Valley CanDo's GiveGuide will run from Nov 15 to Dec 31. There are 67 great non profits throughout the valley participating. There are great incentives to encourage people to donate. Last year we raised close to $12000. That is a lot of spays and neuters and we need your help this year.

Plus, check out adoptable dogs and cats from Napa County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, Ripple Effect Animal Project, and Wine Country Animal Lovers. You can also explore pet-friendly vendors like Drool. dog cookies and Suzanne Hawken’s She Shoots Shots Rescue Dogs of Napa Valley book.

He was rescued out of a crummy situation earlier this year. His foster family has been getting him ready for adoption. He lives with another dog and a toddler. We are dealing with some allergies but he is in good shape. He is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines.

LAVENDER This young girl will be ready for adoption next week after her spay. She is full of personality and spunk. She owns the big dog beds in her foster home and is well socialized with kids , dogs and cats. Lavender was found a couple of weeks ago in our local cemetery. Lucky girl to have been found. She is Up To Date on vaccines, dewormed and chipped. Email [email protected].

Feral release

Another pair of feral girls fixed from our Stanley Lane colony. These cats are lucky to have a few amazing people looking after them including Julia Orr who cares deeply about these ferals and makes sure they have what they need to survive. Our part is to help with food and they spay and neuter. But the true hero’s are the trappers. One of these girls wants more from Life so if you have ever tho that about fostering we have a young girl who needs a little TLC. Milo and Lola

Foster dogs MILO and LOLA are new friends and playmates. Milos is 3years and Lola is 15 months. Milos is much faster than Lola but Lola is smart and finds short cuts to catch up to her new friend.
