🆘️🐱 Can you help a sweet kitty find a new home ASAP?
Calamity Jane's adopter has fallen ill and can no longer care for her. This healthy 5 year old lap cat is looking for a wonderful, loving home she can move to immediately! Calamity Jane is a bottle raised snuggle bug who was adopted from WCAL as a kitten. We're told that she is confident and friendly with everyone in the assisted living facility she currently calls home. As you know, we are an entirely foster-based group with no shelter or facility where animals are housed, but of course, we always want to help our alumni land on their feet. For an adult cat, transitions can be stressful, so the best possible outcome would be for Calamity Jane to move straight into the arms of a new adopter. Do you think we can make that happen if everyone shares and tags a friend? Who do you know who has been considering bringing home a furry companion? Thank you for putting on your thinking caps to ensure a soft landing for Calamity Jane!

Would you rather skip that awkward, fragile kitten phase and fast forward straight to the good stuff? At just over a year old, Blackberry 💯 has the goods! Check out this soft, pettable cat belly 👀 Blackberry is a gigantic, loving, attention hog of a kitty. He's a healthy young adult who LOVES being held. This guy can't possibly get enough attention so if you have multiple humans who can all take turns petting this beautiful cat, that would be perfect. It's ok if you forget because Blackberry will use his loud voice to make sure he's the center of attention. He loves wand toys, being held like a baby and will beg to be let under the covers at night for even more closeness. Blackberry enjoys all the other cats in his foster home, but he truly believes that the world revolves around him 🌎 We're not gonna tell him otherwise!

You can always teach your kids to have respect for animals. Our fur friends have their own way of communication just like you and me. I've never met an animal or person who is exactly the same. Some of us need a little more time,a little more reassuring.
