After experiencing a life altering work injury Antonio left his job to care for his wife 100% of the time. After being diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, PTSD, and reactive psychological effects. Nicol found comfort in the dogs. We began fostering for the shelter, slowly but surely the dogs would beg Nicol to go outside, our first undication that dogs have a 6th sense. They knew Nicol didn’t feel well and it was their mission to help. So, now, we owe it all to them!

We started with rehabilitating dogs, dogs who had been nervous or aggressive, etc. It was our responsibility to train and rehabilitate them so they could get rehomed. Some cases took longer than others, and as time continues we will share those stories here.

Then comes the story of our bam-bam, our cute little innocent Yorkie. Well, he was kicked out of the local grooming shops because he was ‘Aggressive’ truth is he didn’t like sitting in the crate for ages, with stress and chaos surrounding him. He was the sweetest most loving dog we had ever met and had never shown aggression at home. We picked him up immediately and in no time he emptied his bladder in my arms. This NEVER happened before. He had never behaved like that, he was traumatized. If only he could tell us what happened. We swore to ourselves that we would never put him in that position again. It wasn't easy learning how to groom, but we couldn't trust anyone else. It took us a few years, and several classes, but here we are today!

Although we never imagined that working with animals would be able to sustain our family it in fact has and it is the most rewarding job in the world! We have even received awards, recognition's, and shout outs from some of our most famous clients!
