A Big Thank You to Community Cat Trappers!
At Napa Humane, we deeply appreciate the tireless dedication, long hours, and hard work of community cat trappers. Your efforts prevent needless suffering and help control the growing population of homeless cats in our community.
For years, our team has admired a large orange community cat we have affectionately nicknamed El Chapo. El Chapo was often spotted near our clinic. Last week, our staff was lending a hand to recover a wayward cat who escaped their carrier in our parking lot. In the process, they were surprised and delighted when the "wrong" cat initially entered the trapโit was El Chapo!
El Chapo was neutered, vaccinated, and given time to recover at the clinic. Then our team bid him farewell, knowing he would return to his familiar territory healthier and ready to live his best life.
To all the trappers out thereโyou are the unsung heroes in this effort. Thank you for the vital role you play in supporting community cats and giving them a chance at healthier, safer lives. Together, weโre making a difference!

We had such a great time yesterday at the Napa Humane Pet Education Center. So many adorable pets came in to get a photo with Santa! It was great to meet new friends and connect with long time supporters. We love the community that is being built through Napa Humaneโs dog training program.

Join us for a fun and engaging 5-week course, held on Wednesdays from 7:00-7:45 PM, where you and your pup will learn essential skills to strengthen your bond and improve behavior.
