Turk, a 2 1/2-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, was rescued from an IL animal control euthanasia list almost 2 years ago, and he's been on the lookout for his forever home ever since. This loving pup is dog-friendly 🐕 and okay with cats 🐱, but he might prefer older kids for companionship. Turk can be a little slow to warm up to new people, so he needs an experienced owner who can give him the patience and understanding he deserves. Look at OPIE! - his like a different dog after being with two very talented trainers. OPIE’s trainers are eager to show any interested adopter all that he has accomplished. He’s still a silly lab mix that needs reminding of his limits at times, but in time he’s going to be a great addition to the right family.

PLEASE HELP SAVE BADGER!

Only 18 months old, brought in with a bladder stone, Owners brought in to euthanize. We talked them into relinquishing him so that we could try and save his life.

We were able to remove the ONE stone that we could see in the x-ray, but now Badger’s kidneys have began to swell. He will have an Ultrasound done today, and possible surgery if we find more stones during the ultrasound which are not showing up on a regular x-ray.

Medical bills are building and we sure could use some covering these expenses.
