⚠️ Cold Weather Advisory
🕕 Effective: Sun 6:00 PM to Mon 12:00 PM CST
📍 Affected Area: Central, East Central, North Central, and Northeast Illinois & Northwest Indiana

What’s Happening:

• Wind chills as low as -20 to -25°F
• Frostbite risk in 30 minutes on exposed skin
• Another cold snap expected Monday night into Tuesday

Pet Safety Tips:

🐾 Keep pets indoors: Limit outdoor time to quick potty breaks only.
🐾 Bundle up: Use pet-safe coats or sweaters for extra warmth.
🐾 Check their paws: Clean and inspect for frostbite or ice buildup after walks.
🐾 Stay hydrated: Provide fresh, unfrozen water.
🐾 Avoid harmful substances: Watch out for antifreeze and salted sidewalks.

If you see any feral cats, please help them.

READY! SET! LETS ROLLLLL!!!!

Yes I have the markings of a dairy cow, and I am a big boy, but just not a cow I don’t moo! However, I think I am a lap dog because I can have the personality of a pug they fit on laps.

Are you cold on these winter nights and need a snuggle bunny? Do you need your own personal space heater, or a foot warmer? I have multiple uses! I can keep you warm, clean up when kids drop food on the floor, and just sit on the couch and put my therapist glasses on and help you solve all the world's problems! How much better can you get than that? You can’t!

I have such a huge personality that you don’t have to have other dogs but me - I am like 4 rolled into one - a really big one !

I was very thin when I came to the rescue, and was emaciated and underweight, but they quickly got me right back on track and I have a world class sniffer to smell food.

What you should know about me is that I am about 2 years young, I have all my shots, and I am neutered.

I have found I prefer humans over others of my species just because we can relate, ya know? I have medium energy so if you throw the ball for me I may just look at you and ask you if you are going to go get it - that’s what the kids come in handy for 😁
