CLAIRITA, the blind lab mix getting much needed special time- she is ready for adoption. Zephyr, 5 mo.old terrier mix is learning manners & medically inclined skills to detect abnormal blood sugars. He will be ready as a service animal in about 7 months.

Sweet Clairita it's niw been one year since her final surgery -and being 100% blind. She gas made remarkable progress ! Glenda her sister (from another mister) was instrumental in her adjustment. Now a year later she is ready, they both are ready for a loving furever home!!

This sweet girl, Clairita, 100% blind but full of curiosity, wonder & hope- still needs the right person for her best life to be had- she is asleep on my side & my pillow! While I'm trying to clean & change bed linen. Todd ended up helping me wake her up!

True story- as some are taxed to the hilt with dogs, abandoned, hurt, sick & just left lonely needing time, training & compassion - alot of which a person whose already taxed doesn't have alot of to give-

This sweet little tank is ready for his fur-ever home! This is Axel His brother, Crasher was adopted a few months ago.- Axel gets along with everything, literally ! Just a new post for an old adoption! 4 years ago this little dog followed me into a $ general - in a massive storm! She was adopted with in a 6 weeks! Once she was medically cleared & No one claimed her- (45 days).

TODD is ready to go! His neuter was successful! Lol. And he has learned recall, sit, stay & no longer bolts out of every open door! He also is learning to stay out from under his person's feet. These are all lessons in progress- as are any other commands. One needs to be consistent !

Had a good amount of interest in the few dogs & puppies we took this month- we have decided to hold off on the monthly adoption events, at TSC until Feb. or possibly March. Due to the accelerated adoptions during holidays. We dont advocate Christmas & Valentine's Day adoptions !!

Partnering with TSC is a big deal for us! Even though it's a lot of extra work, we believe it'll benefit all strays in our area, in the long run. Since the more we can adopt OUT, the more we can take IN! Our event is the 2nd weekend - Sat. of the month! Here in our hometown. Remember if you have to shoot then shop to adopt!

Good job by the by the man, he wasted no time with no hesitation. Continued with verbal one word commands while advancing and forcing the dog's retreat. Notice the cat, first dazed just laying there until the dog attempted another attack- the cat started to take f, but decided to stay and get in attack mode! Up on is tippytoes & arched back!
It's easy to point fingers & place blame, but truth is s**t happens & none of us are perfect. Fortunately this man was quick on his feet- could all of those pointing fingers say that? How many would've taken that dog on like that? OR just lose their cat?

Thank You Tractor Supply in Carthage- for extending AlwaYs at YOUR Service Pet Services & Adoptions, the opportunity to be apart of their Pawsitive Pet (adoption) Week. We had 4 dogs on site,videos & photos of more dogs at the shelter.

A BIG THANK YOU to KIM @ KIMBERLYS KREATIONS- for desining & creating our RESCUE T-SHIRTS in less than a day & FINISHING THEM in time for the event.!! They look great! WE appreciate you . . .

Shout out to Lulu's Threading they generously donated custom sewen bandanas that have safety features & collars that are a good alternative to bandanas! Really spruced'em up & made more people take notice! Here's a few examples below!

All in All we had a good time & we enjoyed meeting everyone! MY FIRST !

This little sweet natured pooch was fortunate to be found by the right folks. Even tho they called me in hopes that I would take her, I unfortunately am beyond full capacity. So I was unable to house her. But I made a deal with her, I would cover vet bill/ vax ect if she'd foster! Deal! Her name is Macie & she's ill with Parvo, Hook worm & Whip worm- among other issues & secondary illnesses. Please keep her & her foster parents & siblings in your thoughts & Prayers!

Spay & Neuter day for the 4 new rescues- only 2 are HW positive, turnsout with their treatment its too risky- soo gotta keep make & female separate for ANOTHER 6 months- adding to stresses already in place-but we do what we gotta do to help those who were wronged by others.
