One of our goals of starting Well-Dog is to raise funds to help established rescues with expenses, transports, fosters and/or build a small sanctuary at home for abandoned senior dogs who are withering away in shelters. We are a registered 508c1a non-profit, and 100% of donations go to helping established rescues or supplies & tools to build our own. All donations are tax deductable. I have spent the morning going through urgent dogs of Florida...and there is a sickening amount of abuse, neglect, abandonment in just one state...shelters are overcrowded and killing perfectly good dogs just because they don't have the space, or the dog isn't coping well with shelter environment (who would?) ..yesterday we believe we found a dead dog dumped in a trash bag by the canal. People can be so cruel...I can't wrap my mind around it.

Thus...now is a good a time as ever to ask for donations. Any little bit helps. if you do decide to donate, please sign our PMA form on our website. No cost, obligation, cancel any time...it's for logistics. In all transparency we don't know what this will look like moving forward, or how much time it will take before we have the resources to manifest what we envision. We just know that if we can save 1,2,3,4,10 lives, or offer comfort and love for seniors to live out the rest of their days then that's what we will do.
