Bull Riding Fans! Are you looking for something that’s fun and affordable to do this winter!? Well look no further! Cross Over the Line Rodeo Company is coming to Naples NY for their Winter Chill Bull Riding Series! Every Sunday starting December 3rd to April 28th (Weather Permitting). Cowboy church at 12:30 pm. Bull riding begins shortly after. $10 donations per person to watch the bull riding, kids 13 and under $5. Toddlers free. Limited chair seating available or bring your own chair!

Family friendly! All are welcome! No alcohol or drugs are allowed on the property! Located at the Rose Hill Ranch indoor arena @ 6066 Italy Valley Rd, Naples NY.

A huge shout-out and thank you to C. R. Anderson Equine Transport for providing the excellent truck and trailer for our trailer loading demonstration at WNY Equifest this past weekend. We are excited to be presentors at the 2023 WNY Equifest in Hamburg, NY March 18-19.

But we need your help!

We are looking for TWO horses for our Problem Solving/Trailer Loading clinic on Saturday.

We need some horses that are REALLY BAD to load for our demo. Challenge us! What do you have?!

There will be no fee, stall to be included. Horses must be current on all vaccinations. Trailer for the demo to be provided by CR Anderson Trucking.

Gracie and I are sooo excited to be representing the Northeast and planning our trip to Ft Worth, TX at the Ft Worth Stock Show and Rodeo for the invitational only, Rising Stars Mustang Magic EMM Ft Worth January 21 & 22, 2022!!

On Friday, Jan 21, eight of the best trainers will compete for a spot for Saturday nights performance in the Legends division!

Our freestyle is going to be EPIC!!!

We are so honored and grateful to the Mustang Heritage Foundation to be invited to such a prestigious event and for this amazing opportunity. ❤

This little mustang mare came to us a few weeks ago (at no ones fault) from another trainer.

We jumped at the chance to take her so we could put her into our Veterans and Womens program and we are so pleased with how well she is starting to come along with her Veteran!

Today was the first time she has truly allowed herself to accept touch and to let go. Way to go Jayson Smart , its so clear to see the connection and bond you are making with her!!

This picture says a thousand words.

One of our veterans, Brett Michael, is leading Opal, a mustang that he has been working with, and holding his other hand is his young daughter. The moment was precious. Life is precious. Time is precious.

Its so easy to get caught up in the chaos of life, but sometimes you need to stop and take a moment to slow down, to breath and think about what really matters.

We are so grateful to be able to give back in such a way and to be able to create memories such as this. I'm pretty sure this little girl won't ever forget this moment! ❤

Cowpokes Corral

The impetus for the following poem was presented to me by my good friend, cowboy, and trainer of horses, Jack Minteer. Jack relayed ‘that every so often, my Dad (also a long-time trainer) has had to replace both the cover of his Bible and the leathers of his favorite colt-starting saddle’ from the rigorous wear and tear they take.

Leather Bound

Every morning before sun-up calloused hands scraped across its binding.
Every day of life remembered ritualistic pre-dawn minding.

Every morn hardened hands hoist saddle to cayuse’ back.
Every day abrasive grip scathed leather from that kack.

Repeated, dutiful readings bear dawn of new day.
Repeated reflection and quiescence, time to pray.

Repeated chores and duties are par for course.
Repeated lessons, for both, ‘tween man and horse.

Bound in leather beckoning of His word.
Bound of morals, spirituality stirred.

Bound in leather enveloping tree.
Bound to horse and rider, of degree.

Coarse digits ply at its’ spine to find the parable.
Coarse digits pinch pages no longer repairable.

Coarse hands abrade the saddle leather.
Coarse hands cannot prevent its’ weather.

Time and use have taken their toll.
Time and use bear food for the soul.

Time and use have worn parchment quite thin.
Time and use, measures that of within.

Protectant of Bible oft’ times replaced.
Protectant of nourishment for life graced.

Protectant to saddle again supplanted.
Protectant to calling, renewal granted.

Bible and saddle dear to his heart.
Bible and saddle ne’er far apart.

Bible and saddle, outers replaced.
Bible and saddle, both interlaced.

Four wild horses have arrived at Equicenter in Mendon. They are here to help, and to be helped.

U.S. Air Force veteran Nathan Bush is working with one of them. After leaving the military life he loved, Bush has struggled to heal from wounds - seen and unseen.

Well that's a wrap-up! Thank you to each and everyone of you who came out and supported us during our summer series! It was a great turnout and great summer, with great people and horses, we couldn't have done it without you!!! We will hold the series awards banquet after the holidays, stay tuned for a date!! The points and everyone who qualified will be posted shortly, so please be patient!
Our new Winter series dates are also up! They are 11/25, ($250 ADDED!), 12/9, 1/1, 1/13, 2/10, 3/10. Guaranteed added $ in each event, please check out our events pages for more info. We have made some major improvements to the arena and footing, so come check it out!
