Ruffgers Dog University is Naples’ premier dog training, dog boarding, day care and dog agility facility. Our owners, trainers and behaviorists have extensive experience and knowledge to accommodate you and your puppy or dog’s individual needs. We were just recently voted the Best Doggie Daycare in Collier County by Gulfshore Life Magazine and look forward to you and your pup coming to experience our state-of-the-art facility!
We focus on agility, obedience, tricks and other behavioral training in our classes designed for young puppies all the way to senior dogs. We provide a caring, engaging experience in our residence halls, indoor training rooms and outdoor play areas. Our focus is a fun and welcoming environment to foster enriching play and exercise, learning and love for the “Good Boys” and “Good Girls” in your life. We believe that training can not only breed a well-behaved pet, but a deeper and stronger bond between a dog and its owner.
In 2009, owner Aschley Kezeske moved to Florida from Wisconsin to attend graduate school. She quickly learned she needed to pursue her passion and love for dogs, and moved to Naples, where she began training service dogs and running the agility program for a local trainer. As the program grew, so did Aschley’s passion and reputation in the dog community. In late 2012, Aschley ventured out on her own to realize her dream of developing a premier indoor dog training facility. After extensive renovations and preparations, Ruffgers Dog University was born. In 2017, a second branch was opened in Bonita Springs, to better serve customers in Lee County as well.
