Happy National Peanut Butter Day! 🥜
Most dogs absolutely love peanut butter due to its high fat and protein content, making this a great training treat!; peanut butter contains beneficial nutrients like protein, fiber, vitamin E, and niacin which can be good for dogs in moderation.
However, always check the label to ensure it does not contain XYLITOL, as this sugar substitute is toxic to dogs, in any amount. If you have concern that your pet ingested Xylitol, contact ASPCA Poison Control at (888) 426-4435

The recent wildfires have caused unprecedented destruction, burning over 37,000 acres in Los Angeles County. These fires have led to the displacement of thousands of residents and their pets, as well as significant harm to local wildlife.
Pasadena Humane has taken in over 400 animals since the onset of the fires, providing shelter, medical treatment, and care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, goats, and sheep. The organization is also actively involved in search, rescue, and recovery efforts in the affected areas.
How can YOU help? We've attached a link below to donate direct to the Pasadena Humane Society. The best way to help the animals and families who are in need is to donate. This will give the flexibility to cover critical expenses like medical care, facility maintenance, and support for lifesaving programs that ensure every animal has the best chance at a happy ending.

North Naples Veterinary Hospital is a small animal private practice that is well equipped to provide for all of your pet’s veterinary needs. Our doctors Al Lehman and Ryan Gorbutt have over twenty years of combined experience in general practice and emergency medicine. With their vast knowledge, respectful bedside manner, comprehensive care, and compassionate service, you and your pet will prefer us.
Our hospital offers everything from routine care and wellness exams to comprehensive health care and nutritional guidance for pets of all ages. We provide complete medical, surgical, and dental services for dogs and cats. We also offer boarding services for existing patients. For senior pets, be sure to ask about our Class IV Laser therapy for the treatment of arthritis and pain relief.
Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. On the second Saturday of each calendar month, we are also open from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. You can find us in the Naples Walk Shopping Center at the southeast corner of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Airport-Pulling Road in Naples, Florida. We are at the opposite end of the same building as Off the Hook Comedy Club.
Here at NNVH, we are always accepting new patients and look forward to working with you and your pets. Feel free to call or stop by any time during business hours. Our friendly staff is eager to answer any questions you may have and can provide tours of the clinic and boarding facility in the afternoons.
