Etna has the cutest little snout — it even looks like she has a tiny mustache! This sweet, affectionate girl loves attention and companionship, with just the right touch of curiosity. Another amazing week of adoptions! 🐾
We had animals find their forever homes, first-time visitors exploring the shelter, Rescue Recess outings, and so many happy moments.

Today we’re highlighting a few of our wonderful adoptions:
Itty Bitty — one of our long-term cats who finally found her forever home, Samara, Moose, Becky (our sweet senior who had several teeth removed), Gravy, Darwin, and Cereal!

Thank you to everyone who visited, adopted, showed love, and helped make this week so special for our animals!

Endive already knows how to sit at just 2 months old, and both have been waiting nearly 30 days for their families to find them.

Sweet Lady Bug has been through so much — but she never stopped wagging her tail. After her surgery, she spent time in a loving foster home where she received the TLC she desperately needed to heal. Now, she’s back at the shelter, healthy, hopeful, and ready to find her forever family.

Happy Foster Friday! Meet Sunflower!

Sunflower is a sweet 5-year-old girl who’s currently soaking up the comfort of a loving foster home — and she’s ready to find her forever family!

Her foster shared:
“Sunflower is doing very well. She’s eating great, gets along with the dogs, and loves being petted. She spends her days hanging out on the cat tower or napping under our daughter’s bed. She can stay here as long as needed.”

Sunflower sounds pretty perfect, doesn’t she?

Sweet Benito is still looking for his match—whether through adoption or fostering!

He’s a Rescue Recess favorite, and everyone who meets him raves about how amazing he is. We can’t believe he’s still waiting!

Benito is a happy, goofy guy who loves adventures, walks, pup cup car rides, and meeting new people. He’s great with other dogs, knows his commands, and is super smart—he has so much potential with someone willing to continue the training our awesome team has started.
